No release date is confirmed for a Red Dead Redemption 3, but the sequel to the popular franchise will still be published by Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive. Although there is no official release date, some people try to play the infamous guessing game. Now, the rumor is, Red Dead Redemption will be released in 2024, after the release of Grand Theft Auto 6.

Strauss Zelnick (the CEO of Take-Two Interactive) said in an interview that Red Dead Redemption would be a franchise that “never expires.” If you are still undecided on purchasing Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy—The Definitive Edition, because of the bugs and glitches, you should be hoping the developers do not ruin Red Dead Redemption 3.

The first edition of the action-adventure, Red Dead Redemption (was introduced back in 2010 as a third-person perspective) having an environment based in the Western United States and Mexico. Red Dead Redemption 2 was released in 2018 (being presented in a first and third-person perspective), focusing on the cowboy, Arthur Morgan.

Red Dead Redemption 2 somewhat gives gamers a real-life experience, from the cicadas in an open world atmosphere, to the unpolluted sky, to the people, as well as 200 species (each making its own sound).

In 2018, Daniel Houser (the co-founder of Rockstar Games and at the time, was the director of the game) had an interview with Vulture. He said, “The first [RDR] is about a man [Marston] trying to save his family from his past. And the second one is about a bunch of outlaws who have been living in the Wild West as it’s getting tamed and the pressures that brings to bear upon one particular man [Arthur]. Changing times, changing friendships, changing places, changes emotionally and geographically.

Dan did mention that they might think about a potential Red Dead Redemption 3, if the second edition sold well.
