Best Heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint

With Naraka: Bladepoint following the footsteps of every other battle royale in its class and finally going free-to-play for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC, a surge of new players are jumping in to experience its one-of-a-kind gameplay. The only issue is that the gameplay in Naraka: Bladepoint is a little difficult; it's not a game you can just pick up and master. That's because, in addition to your build in terms of weapons, you also have to consider your hero's playstyle. Because, similar to Apex Legends, Naraka: Bladepoint features heroes with unique abilities. As a result, it pays to know the best heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint.

But, with over 16 to choose from, all of whom play very differently from one another, it can be hard to sort out the good heroes, from the not-so-good. That's why we've got you covered with the best heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint right below. So, if you want to have greater success in the 60-player action battle royale, keep reading to find out which heroes will help do just that.

6. Akos Hu

Best Heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint

Akos Hu is the newest character in Naraka: Bladepoint, and there is much debate regarding whether or not he is one of the game's best heroes. However, we've been having a lot of fun with him lately and consider him a top candidate. What's nice about Akos Hu is that he's a defensive and offensive-based character who's friendly to newcomers.

His Roar skill does area of effect (AOE) damage while granting himself damage reduction. Furthermore, his Feral Frenzy Ultimate expands his offensive capabilities in a variety of ways. For Starters, he can leap into the air and follow up with a light or heavy attack. On top of that, by re-casting the ability, Hu will launch three consecutive tiger strikes and restore some health. So, in general, he's a straightforward character that excels on the offensive. Consequently why we find him to be one of the best heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint for newcomers.

5. Zai

Best Heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint

Zai is easily one of the best heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint, however, she is hard to master. That's because Zai focuses on quick and swift melee attacks. For example, her Flame Ward ability grants her speed boosts and makes her invulnerable to incoming attacks for a short window. This is a fantastic skill, but it is your lone defense/escape maneuver, so use it wisely.

Zai's ultimate replaces her current weapon with a Chain Scythe. What's fantastic about the Chain Scythe is that it can hit from a greater distance and perform both light and heavy attacks, making Zai even more versatile when this weapon is in her hands. And we haven't even gotten to the greatest part yet: if you land three attacks in a row with the Chain Scythe, Zai will acquire a charge attack and regain some health.

4. Viper Ning

Best Heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint

If you're playing Naraka: Bladepoint with friends, it's a good idea to have a Viper Ning on your team. That's because Viper Ning's primary goal is to break the flow of the combat, which can also be useful in a single-player if you're having trouble parrying or evading your opponents' abilities.

Viper Ning's Blind Blademaster’s skill, Yushan Enigma, knocks back enemies and even disrupts charge attacks. So, if you see your opponent charging up an attack, you can just stop them dead in their tracks with this ability. However, it is Viper Ning's ultimate that truly demonstrates why she is such a fantastic team player. Twilight Crimson, her ultimate, marks all adversaries and stuns them for five seconds. As a result, it's perfect for engaging, disengaging, and ambushing – practically every application of battle.

3. Matari

Matari is a hero in Naraka: Bladepoint with whom players have a love/hate relationship. You love her while you're playing as her, but when you're playing against her, she's a pain in the buttocks. This is due to Matari's emphasis on mobility. Her Silent Flutter, for example, allows her to teleport a short distance away. So, if you're on the verge of death just disappear from the fight. It's really annoying to play against, but it's a lot of fun if you're the one doing it. Matari's ultimate, on the other hand, practically renders her invisible. As a result, you can get the jump on enemies nine times out of ten.

2. Valda Cui

Valda Cui is an offensive water-based hero that you don't want to come across in a one vs one fight because that's where she excels. Her first skill, Haze, casts a big water bubble that traps players. It's only for two seconds, and unless they're Matari and can flee quickly, you nearly always get a free hit in.

The character's ultimate, Nether Nightmare, sends a tidal wave in one direction. Anyone caught in it is carried up in a water tornado and imprisoned there until the ultimate is over. The coolest part, once Valda Cui hits an enemy after popping the ultimate, she'll rise into the air and get to throw a giant water spear at one of the trapped enemies. As a result, it's simple to see how Valda Cui can inflict a lot of damage in a short amount of time, and why she's easily one of the best heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint.

1. Yoto Hime

Out of all the heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint, most players find the most success with Yoto Hime. That's because both of the abilities in her kit are easy to hit and deal huge amounts of damage. First, her Spirit Slash skill launches her blade at an enemy; if it hits, the blade reappears above the enemy. Yoto Hime can then teleport to that blade and follow up with another attack right on the enemy's head top.

Although that's a powerful ability, it's Yoto Hime's ultimate that is truly broken. When cast, her ultimate will launch Yoto up in the air where she can dish out three massive slashes. Each of these slashes knocks foes back and deals a significant amount of damage. What's particularly vexing about this is that the hitbox and accuracy of these slashes are extremely forgiving. As a result, you don't have to be very skilled to land one, if not all three. Considering that, it's pretty easy to see why Yoto Hime is one of the best heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint, and the one character that will cheese you the most wins.
