Baldur’s Gate 3 Wins Player’s Voice Award – The Game Awards 2023
Gaming wouldn't be anything without its fans. Every year there is one fan-driven award called the Player's Voice Award. There are three stages of voting, with five games making it to the final round for players to choose from. The competition this year has been especially tough, as many highly anticipated games where released. The nomineeds for this category where, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom, Genshin Impact,Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Spiderman 2, and Baldur's Gate 3. Baldur's Gate 3 ended up taking home the award by the end of the night, much to the delight of fans.

Baldur's Gate 3 was a smash hit when it released, and quicly took the gaming world by storm. The game featured some of the deepest roleplaying content ever seen, and memorable characters. Earlier in the night, the game's actor Neil Newbon took home the award for best voiceover, and the game one the best multiplayer award. The love from fans around the world has not gone unnoticed since it's release. However, going up agaisnt a legendary series like Zelda and Spiderman, was no small feat. All in all, the devs deserve it, as they have listened to player feedback, even when it was over something as small(or large) as a cats breed.
Baldur's Gate 3 was also nominated for Game of The Year, along with several other games that where up for the Player's Voice Award, but ended up taking home the win.. We hope that the game wil lsee continued support from devs, as it's truly a wonderful game, with tons of content for players to delve into.
