Hype over the recently concluded Capcom Pro Tour 2021 Season Finale had barely died down when Capcom announced the release of the Capcom Fighting Collection launching on June 24.

In a Tweet, Capcom announced the return of 10 of their iconic titles, two of which will be coming into North America for the very first time. The first five games in the collection include:

  1. Fullmetal Madness
  2. Cyberbots
  3. Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
  4. Super Puzzle Fighter 2
  5. Hyper Street Fighter 2

The other five are all Dalkstalker games including:

  1. Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
  2. Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
  3. Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire

The two new entrants in the American gaming scene are:

  1. Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge
  2. Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire

The Capcom Fighting Collection will bring on board all the legends in the game’s competitive gaming history. Each character will play as they did in the arcades, but the gameplay will be spiced up. Introducing an official art gallery, and hundreds of fun tracks in a music player this gaming mash-up will be nothing but action-packed fun. The Collection will come on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC,

Two other thrilling features that the collection intends to introduce are multiplayer online game play, and a rollback netcode to improve the online gaming experience. The original offline arcade fights will also be available for players who prefer a solo experience.

This classic collection has had positive reviews from players excited to revive the memories they had of the games. It has also met a bit of criticism, with some players wondering why some classic titles were left out. Either way, Capcom Fighting Collection can turn out great, only time will tell.
