Ubisoft released a new teaser trailer to accompany the announcement. The trailer highlights what players can expect from the game, including familiar locations and a new threat to the peace. As the first wave of Strategic Homeland Division agents, gamers will be able to experience unique events that take place before the events of the two previous Division games.
The Division Resurgence‘s unveiling trailer promises “an AAA experience featuring a new storyline set in a massive urban open world.” The plot will provide players with a unique viewpoint on the events surrounding Divisions 1 & 2. Strategic Homeland Division agents will play an essential role in the game's plot.
Ubisoft first revealed that The Division Resurgence would be coming to mobile platforms in 2021. However, we can expect the game to be released in Ubisoft's next fiscal year, which ends in March 2023.
The Division, which marked the beginning of the series, launched in 2016. Tom Clancy's The Division 2 relocated the series to Washington, D.C., during the summer. As part of Ubisoft's 20-year tradition of Tom Clancy games, the game takes place in a post-pandemic New York City.
The Division Resurgence will be the third AAA shooter revealed or launched. Apex Legends Mobile debuted in May, while Activision announced that it would make Call of Duty Warzone available on mobile devices in March.
The Division Resurgence Release Dates
Ubisoft did not reveal the release date for The Division Resurgence. However, gamers interested in this mobile experience can sign up for a chance to join a closed alpha via the game's official website. The free-to-play third-person shooter will have both an Android and an iOS version.
