Altus has announced Persona 5, a much-awaited JPRG title, in Bethesda Games Showcase. According to Altus, Persona 5 is one of the three titles from the franchise. The game will soon be available on PC and Xbox consoles. And now, the devs have also promised 40 DLCs which have caused excited murmurs in the gaming community.

From the three titles, PC gamers had already received the enhanced port Persona 4 Golden on Steam, back in 2012. Persona 4 Ultimax, was also launched on steam in March, this year. Persona 3 Portable is under the remastering process. With the new Persona 5 Royal, PC players will have access to the entire series. The best part is that it's all free, no need to pay for any DLCs.

According to the official blog post by Atlus, the DLCs will come with several different personas and costumes from characters across the game storyline.

Moreover, there will be gameplay-boosting item packs for players and new battle challenges with powerful opponents. The best part is, that the DLCs will feature cross-platform aesthetic items from other Atlus’ games like Catherine, the Persona Dancing series, and Persona Q2.

Google translation of the blog also mentions that the 40 DLCs may be built into the game from the beginning. Hence, players might have access to the extra content right from the get-go.

However, this clearly doesn’t mean that players will have access to overpowering items from an early stage. The huge bundle of Downloadable Content is loaded with costumes, cosmetics, BGM, and much more.

Persona 5 port is all set to release on PC and Xbox consoles on October 21st, 2022. While Altus has mentioned that “Windows” will get over 40 free DLCs, it is unclear whether the Steam version will receive those or not. To check what all goodies are included in the DLCs, you can check out Persona 5's official website.
