Microsoft Reveals New Titles Coming to Xbox Game Pass in October

Microsoft has revealed the lineup of games coming to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming, promising an exciting October for subscribers. 

As of today (October 3, 2023), two titles, Gotham Knights and The Lamplighter’s League, are now available across all three platforms: Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. 

Next in line is Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, which will be available on October 4. Darktide, originally launched on PC, encountered a rocky start with reported “bugs and technical difficulties.” Since then, the development team at Fatshark has been diligently addressing these issues, ensuring that the Xbox release incorporates all the improvements made since its initial launch.

Racing enthusiasts on the Game Pass will get access to Forza Motorsport on October 10. This edition of Forza Motorsport promises players access to an impressive roster of over 500 real-world cars, including “more than 100” newcomers to the Forza Motorsport franchise. 

Additionally, Game Pass members have the opportunity to pre-purchase the Premium Add-Ons Bundle at a 10 percent discount, providing early access, VIP membership, Car Pass, and more.

The last titles to join the service are From Space, which will launch on October 12, and Like A Dragon: Ishin!, which will make its debut on October 17.

3rd October:

However, with new arrivals come departures, as several titles are set to exit the Game Pass service on October 15. Subscribers who wish to continue playing these titles will have the opportunity to purchase them at a 20 percent discount. 

The departing games include:

• Overwhelm (PC)
• Shenzhen I/O (PC)
• The Legend of Tianding (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Trek to Yomi (Cloud, Console, and PC)
• Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion (Cloud, Console, and PC)
