Borderlands 3, Marvel’s Avengers & The Long Dark Join PlayStation Now

As per the PlayStation Blog report posted yesterday, three major titles will be available to play through the PlayStation Now service as of today. From April 6th, subscribers to the streaming platform will be able to download and tuck into Borderlands 3, Marvel's Avengers, and The Long Dark. Of course, as with every shift of the ever-expanding carousel, each new title will only stay on board for a limited amount of time. And in this case, we're looking at three or four months before each of the above depart the ride.

Marvel's Avengers, which definitely lights the way for the second and third bolt-on entries, will be available to play up until July 5th, whereas Borderlands 3 has been made playable until September 29th. Unfortunately, The Long Dark has yet to receive an official departure date, although we'd probably pin it as a Q3 2021 estimate. Either way, you've got plenty of time to get your hands on all three before they frazzle out into nothingness.

So, what are you waiting for?

Whether it's shooting and looting on Pandora as a new addition to the Vault Hunter roster or chewing through the riveting cinematic storyline as one of the Avenger's newest superheroes — you'll definitely be tucked away with a few amazing greats to keep you occupied this April. With well over a hundred hours combined across all three games, Sony definitely seems to be gearing up to give the Xbox Game Pass a run for their money.

Oh, and Sony is also offering a 7-day free trial to PlayStation Now from April 7th on both PS4 and PS5. However, if you've activated the service before — then you won't be eligible for the deal.

You can subscribe to PlayStation Now for $9.99 a month, with access to over 700 titles at the touch of a button. You can see our list of must-plays here.
