Online gambling has been around for nearly three decades now, since the early days of the internet. However, those early casinos were not really casinos at all, more like entire websites dedicated specifically to a single game. Of course, TigerGaming of today is unrecognizable to those who may have known it back in the day, and only the two things are still the same — it still has a large focus on poker rooms, even though it now offers a lot of other content, and it kept its name. With that said, let’s see what the platform that originally launched in 1999 has to offer in 2022.

One of the changes that TigerGaming introduced over the years is sports betting, which is, of course, one of the most popular forms of gambling today. In fact, the introduction of sports betting was its first step towards becoming a full gaming site that it is today.
TigerGaming sportsbook has a very modern look and feel to it. It is easy to navigate, so anyone can do it regardless of their experience with similar platforms. Encouraged by the professional look and feel of the sportsbook, our research team moved on to the casino section of the website. As a poker website, TigerGaming introduced the casino section at a later date, so this too is a younger part of the platform, and likely not something that the platform intended to introduce back in the early days.
However, given the fact that TigerGaming no longer allows US players on the platform, it does come as a surprise that they did not try to secure additional software vendors. Instead, the big news regarding this portion of the website is that they now offer non-download versions of the games, which is a positive change. Before the change was made, having to download the game to play it was a requirement, and a point against the website, so we are glad to see that this is no longer the case.
In terms of software suppliers, TigerGaming works with two of them at the moment — Rival Gaming and Betsoft. Both are well-known and reputable vendors, but both are also offering their services to casinos that accept US players, which indicates that TigerGames doesn’t have the games that are against the US regulations, but rather other aspects.
Upon testing the games, they worked very well, with no issues, and the player experience was actually rather enjoyable. Of course, the majority of the available games were slots, which is something that both of these software providers are primarily known for. Rival, for example, has been working on developing a unique series of slots games over the years that have rather unique storylines and graphics.
As for Betsoft, its games are quite easy to spot thanks to the fact that they are all 3D series of games. The beautiful graphics are making the games extremely enjoyable to watch and play.
In the table games section of the casino, there are many, many great options including blackjack, roulette, American roulette, pai gow poker, craps, baccarat, and three-card poker. These live dealer games allow players to get the feeling of a real, traditional casino, or at least something close to that. Originally, TigerGaming was a poker-only site, and while it was forced to evolve in order to stay relevant, it is nice to see that the platform did not forget its roots, and that poker is still a major part of it. The poker industry itself had to fight to remain relevant over the last decade or so, and so we expect that poker fans will be more than happy to see a full tournament schedule, and enjoy an entire array of cash games.
Poker websites are no longer packed with players 24/7, which might make poker enthusiasts sad to see. However, TigerGaming’s Poker section is still running well and is seeing plenty of traffic. There were multiple available cash games running at the time when our team researched the platform, plus small tournament fields, and more.
