In a thrilling build-up, the Mortal Kombat franchise is set to make a return with Mortal Kombat 1. NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Games have released a launch trailer for the game, giving a glimpse of what to expect when the game launches next week.

The launch trailer provides an exciting first look at the game's exhilarating storyline and gameplay.

The trailer focuses on Shang Tsung as he fights with his fate in the reborn Mortal Kombat Universe, created by the Fire God, Liu Kang.

In addition, the trailer showcases Shang Tsung's impressive moveset, including fireball projectiles, devastating combos, and his signature ability to shape-shift into rival kombatants.

The trailer also introduces Reiko, General Shao's formidable second-in-command, showcasing his brutal fighting style and unrelenting persona. The trailer also teases the gameplay of other launch roster fighters, promising a diverse lineup of characters for players to master.

Additionally, Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios have announced an extensive set of accessibility options.

The options include descriptive audio of the on-screen action, ensuring that gamers can fully immerse themselves in the brutal battles. Furthermore, the accessibility options ensure that the game can be enjoyed by a wider audience.

Mortal Kombat 1 will be the latest installment in the franchise and serve as a pseudo-sequel to Mortal Kombat 11. The new game picks up after Mortal Kombat 11's timeline-altering events and offers players a rebooted and revitalized universe to explore.

Mortal Kombat 1 is officially set to launch on September 19th. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, gamers who secured the Kollector's Edition or Premium Edition will have access starting September 14th.
