Lastly, Rabbid Mario boosts the team with equally high HP. He easily performs close-range hits and counterattacks. All the while, he protects your team’s cover by attacking while moving, which helps to take all the attention away from Bowser and Rabbid Peach.

Boss battles are tricky. Preparing beforehand is not a debate. You’ll need a ranged fighter who can weave in and out of the battle arena with ease. In that case, Mario can help inflict a decent amount of widespread attacks, locking down bosses and getting away with ease. He has swift movement thanks to performing jumps and dashes. Since boss fights often have groups of weaker enemies, you’ll need a suitable crowd controller who can take out as many enemies as they can. 

For this, Bowser fits the job description perfectly. He can unleash heavy, explosive attacks that destroy everything in their way.
