Wayfinder: 5 Best Senja Tips

The amount of damage Senja can dish out to enemies speaks volumes about her character. She’s a powerful DPS build that no one dares mess with. When they do, they easily meet their end as Senja revels in intense combat. Senja’s M.O. is a giant, spiky arm and a Colossus two-handed sword. With these, she doesn’t hesitate to lay down to waste anyone who dares challenge her to battle.

As with other Wayfinder classes, Senja has multiple skills and abilities. Not all of them maximize her potential to the fullest, though, with some proving more powerful than others. To effectively use Senja in battle, you need to learn which skills and abilities Senja thrives at, as well as how to make the most of your gaming experience playing Senja. Here are Wayfinder: best Senja tips to get started.

5. Learn Senja’s Skills and Abilities

Senja is a powerful gladiator who doesn’t shy away from battle. She uses her giant spiky arm and Colosus greatsword to smite enemies where they stand. Because of her fierceness, she’s nicknamed “The Champion,” ever pulling enemies to her and dealing massive damage at close range.

Senja is also a great tanker who protects herself and her allies from harm. Take a look at Senja’s skills, abilities, and signature weapon below.

Skills

Gladiator Pummel – To use Gladiator Pummel, first land a successful punch forward, then hold on to Showboat. On release, punch again to buff Senja’s next weapon attack. When you fully showboat, it’ll also bump up the damage output of the follow-up punch.

Gain Favor – First, hold Gain Favor to Showboat. This will fill up your Favor. On release, you’ll taunt nearby enemies while buffing Senja and her allies.

Lightning Grasp – Senja can manipulate lightning using Lightning Grasp. You can use lightning to pull up displaceable enemies closer to you, closing the gap between Senja and enemies in a large area. A quick tip is to use Lightning Grasp to group enemies for an AoE damage attack.

Grand Finale – It allows Senja to charge toward enemies in the form of a lightning spear. This blasts enemies to pieces in a burst of lightning, dealing massive damage to them and filling up the Crowd’s Favor meter.

Passive Skill

Crowd Favorite – When you hold the Gladiator Pummel and Gain Favor skills, it’ll cause Senja to Showboat. While Senja is showboating, she’ll resist staggering, reduce damage intake, and fill up the Crowd’s Favor meter.

Signature Weapon

Colossus (Two-Handed Sword) – Senja’s ceremonial weapon of choice is easy to see strapped to her back. It’s huge and only taken out during the most intense combat encounters. You can use it on minuscule goblins and shrikes, but know that it’ll be deeply insulting to Colossus’ immense power.

Gladiator Slice (Weapon Ability) – Colussus comes with the Gladiator Slice weapon ability, as do all other signature weapons of other classes. The Gladiator Slice skill allows you to buff your next ability every time you perform a quick melee attack with the Colussus sword. If you use Gladiator Slice a second time, it’ll allow you to use an empowered version of it, which deals additional damage of up to two times the original’s effect.

4. Fill Up the Crowd’s Favor Pool

Wayfinder: 5 Best Senja Tips

Using Grand Finale will fill up your Crowd’s Favor pool meter. Also, the Crowd Favorite passive skills will help to build up the crowd’s favor pool, too. But why is Crowd’s Favor important?

Well, increasing Crowd’s Favor gives Senja more Attack Damage and Ability Power. The favor pol meter is divided into multiple bars. The more the bars fill up, the more Senja gains Attack Damage and Ability Power.

Increasing Senja’s attack and ability power allows her to deal maximum damage to enemies. It also allows her to put up the best defense by utilizing Gain Favor. So, it’s paramount to make the most of it as often as you can.

3. Use Showboating to Explore Senja’s Tank Side

Many of Senja’s abilities revolve around propelling her to become the best offense class on the battlefield. Still, she has the potential to also excel at tanking. She does this through Showboating, which you can activate when you hold the Gladiator Pummel and Gain Favor skills.

So long as Senja is showboating, she’ll be able to withstand staggering from incoming attacks. She’ll also take up considerably less damage, all while filling up the Crowd’s Favor meter to deal more extensive damage.

2. Take Your Time

Senja’s skills and abilities make her a perfect ally to have in your corner. However, these same abilities can make her slow compared to other classes like Niss. They also make her playstyle uniquely complex to master. However, all it takes is patience and practice to fully realize Senja’s potential. So, don’t give up after only a few tries. Keep going to discover Senja’s mighty strength and tanking abilities.

1. Skill Priority Tree

Not every Senja skill and ability is vital to her DPS and tank build. Some skills are simply less powerful than others. To make the most of your abilities while also maximizing the Crowd Favorite passive skill so you can deal the maximum damage and reduce damage intake as much as possible, you may want to use the following skill priority tree.

  • Gladiator Pummel 1
  • Gladiator Pummel 2
  • Gain Favor 1
  • Gain Favor 2
  • Gladiator Pummel 3
  • Gain Favor 3
  • Grand Finale 1

Holding the Gladiator Pummel and Gain Favor skills helps to boost Senja’s ability to withstand staggering, take reduced damage, and fill up Crowd’s Favor. So, you’ll want to make the most of the two skills to utilize Crowd Favorite to the maximum.

In the meantime, you’ll be giving buffs to you and your allies using Gain Favor. As for Gladiator Pummel, you’ll want to always punch the skill in any time you have three charges to cue in the cooldowns.

Then, once your Crowd Favorite reduces to one bar or runs out completely, punch in your Grand Finale to wrap up the sequence in style while also filling up your bar to full. Then, rinse and repeat the sequence until you finish the fight.
