10. Sonic Rumble
Set to launch sometime soon, Sonic Rumble aims to add spice to the often gritty take on battle royales. It’s a party game, in fact, allowing multiple players to compete in fierce but fun battles. Up to 32 players will take up the mantle to survive the most colorful battle arenas.
It’ll be a chaotic whirlwind that will end with crowning the top Rumbler. You can either race to the top or dodge the most rings. You definitely need high-speed maneuvers to beat opponents, which adds to the short bursts it takes to finish a match.
9. Annihilation
There are 59 other players to contend with in Annihilation, all bringing their A-game to a ravaged world. While the game doesn’t have an exact release date, we have visual footage showcasing what to expect. The environments pull you into its post-apocalyptic sci-fi roots.
You can switch from first-person to third-person, taking the time to map out your opponents’ skills and outperform them on the battlefield.
8. GRIT
If playing a battle royale in the Wild West sounds exciting, be sure to mark your calendars for the launch of GRIT. You’ll, of course, be saddling your favorite horses and riding down the desert and grassy plains of the Wild West.
Be careful to unlock and customize the best weapons, as it could make or break the game for you. Only the most vicious and skilled hunters will make it through to the end.
7. Mini Royale
Mini Royale is among the most anticipated battle royales this year. It’ll feature toy soldiers, accommodating up to 50 fighters per round as they go head-to-head in steamy battles until there’s only one soldier left standing. You’ll need powerful weapons and equipment to survive the onslaught of raging fire.
While you’ll be mini-sized, you’ll also have a toy train speeding up your traversal across the battle arenas. Essentially, the whole game takes place in a kid’s bedroom, where you can fly down using parachutes and swing down curtain rods.
6. Fate Trigger: The Novita
Fate Trigger: The Novita features anime heroes with unique skill sets, descending into one battle arena to fight it out till the last breath. There’s also deep lore involving a mysterious spherical entity watching over everyone from up above.
Meanwhile, the world is made up of floating islands facing the threat of a Paleblight disaster. To save the world, you’ll hunt down the secrets of this world and shoot your way to the top.

Also, we anticipate a “modern setting,” as opposed to previous historical and near-future time periods, where 64 players battle it out for the crown as has usually been the norm.
4. Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2
Fortnite has cemented its place as one of the best battle royales. Over the years, the franchise has kept up to speed with consistent content updates. As players continue to gain XP and climb the leaderboards on Chapter 6, Season 1, you can start looking forward to the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1, presumed to launch sometime in February 2025.
3. Mecha BREAK
While Mecha BREAK offers three game modes in its multiplayer third-person shooter genre, it’s the battle royale one that’s ramping up excitement in the gaming community. You’ll be controlling mechs that can take flight at any moment and launch high-octane battles on a vast world.
With the diverse classes on offer, you can switch up your play style and customize your mechs as you please.

There’ll be boss monsters, too, who put up a bigger challenge, undoubtedly keeping you on your toes no matter your skill or rank. Be sure to play the Supervive Early Access round to give your feedback ahead of the final launch.
1. Elden Ring Nightreign
A new standalone adventure in the Elden Ring universe is in the works called Nightreign. Although you’ll play through familiar environments, the world will actually be a parallel version of the Lands Between that will change every time you head back into the game for a new run.
It plans to be a multiplayer experience blending roguelike and battle royale gameplay with three-player co-op teams fighting against one another for bragging rights and exciting rewards. But besides going up against skilled champions, you’ll face environmental threats, too; the universe crawling with dangers lurking in the shadows of the night.
