In Minecraft Legends, commanding units in battle is a vital component of the game.

Therefore, it's essential to have the best units at your disposal to increase your chances of defending villages or raiding Piglin bases. While every unit in the game has its own unique value, some are more effective than others. These units are incredibly powerful, durable, and indispensable. Focusing on utilizing the best units gives you the upper hand in the game.

So today we will be looking at “Minecraft Legends: All United Ranked.” 

12. Warriors

Warriors comprise of Commendable mobs you unlock right before completing the game. Unfortunately, since they only become available at the final level, they may not be very helpful during the campaign. It's not even guaranteed that you'll encounter them while commanding other units. However, once you've unlocked the Warriors, you'll find them near Fountains in villages. This means you can head to nearby villages to recruit these mobs. Unlike other units, the Warriors don't take up any space in your army, making them a valuable asset

Although they are not the most robust units, they are still quite powerful. Deploying these mobs to take down an entire base is a relatively easy feat. Warriors are swift and can inflict significant damage at once, making them an excellent defense against Piglin attacks. They also come in handy when you're running low on resources to spawn units. The only downside is that you can only unlock them at the end of the game.

11. Plank Golems

These units are relatively simple mobs, consisting of small wooden creatures that shoot arrows at hostile mobs. Since they don't have arms, they can only attack when struck directly, and they take significant damage as a result. However, they are easy to spawn, provided you have a Plank Golem Spawner. To generate one Plank Golem, you need 25x Wood and 25x Stone.

Plank Golems are particularly effective against your enemies, especially when you have multiple units on the battlefield. When deploying them, positioning them at the back of your army while other units engage in the front is crucial. It's also advisable to move them in large numbers to increase their impact. However, they are quite fragile, so don't hesitate to sacrifice them when necessary.

10. Grindstone Golems  

Grindstone Golems are, interestingly, a solid defensive unit, offering fantastic usage against low-raking hostile mobs, including the Mace Runt and Blaze Runt. As such, they make it very easy to win your fights in the early stages of the game. This unit is primarily agile and durable, with an attack that stuns enemy Piglins. However, their low damage means that it would be wise to rely on other units that have a negative effect on enemies.

When deployed effectively, Grindstone Golems can become essential in battle, stunning enemies and launching them into the air. They are especially useful when launching an attack against range-based mobs. However, it's worth noting that this unit becomes less effective as you progress through the game, so keep this in mind when deciding which units to use.

9. Zombies

Zombies can be a great addition to your army thanks to their unique ability to temporarily interrupt your enemy's attack. They are also easy to command and an essential unit when you need someone to take a beating, as they are known to pack a punch. Deploying several of them can deal significant damage to an entire base.

To spawn Zombies, you will need 2x Redstone, 2x Lapis, and 1x Flame of Creation. Additionally, they can act as a disruptive feature, drawing enemy attention away from other tasks you may be carrying out.

8. Mossy Golems

Mossy Golems are a support unit and cannot defend themselves. However, they are highly useful in battle, offering clear debuffs and healing allies in the vicinity. To spawn Mossy Golems, you must first obtain a Mossy Golem Spawner. To create a Mossy Golem, you will need 25X Wood and 25X Iron. They are an excellent option to consider when starting out in a new world, but they may become less relevant as you progress through the game.

It's worth noting that Mossy Golems are not particularly sturdy, so you may want to deploy several of them to ensure they don't get taken out too quickly if enemies decide to target them.

7. Skeletons

Skeletons are simple mobs that excel at long-range combat with their bows and arrows. They can be a valuable asset to your army, allowing you to assault enemy forts from behind your front-line troops and protect your base from defensive positions. However, it's important to note that Skeletons have limited defensive capabilities and are quite fragile. As such, they require additional protection to ensure their safety.

6. Cobblestone Golems

While they share similarities with the First of Stone unit, Cobblestone Golems lack a ranged attack. Nevertheless, they are still one of the first units you will use in Minecraft Legends, and it's important not to underestimate their abilities. I recommend keeping them by your side throughout the game. Despite their small size, they can pack a punch and are effective in taking down opposing outposts.

Using Cobblestone Golems may not result in significant damage against enemy units, but they can effectively push back Piglins and protect weaker troops. They excel at taking down structures and attacking low-ranking troops. However, it's important to note that their strength lies in numbers, meaning that you'll need to have several of them by your side to be effective.

5. Creepers

The Creeper unit can be a game-changer, just like in regular Minecraft. They are particularly useful for dealing massive damage and blowing things up when used strategically. Placing them in the right location can make all the difference when attacking a base or taking down a boss. While Creepers are expendable, they are also highly valuable. However, it's essential to note that they can only be used for one attack.

The Creeper unit is known for its destructive capabilities, even in regular Minecraft, as it explodes upon reaching its target. Once they explode, they are gone forever. As such, it's crucial to use them wisely and command them carefully.

4. First of Oak

Minecraft Legends introduces the Firsts, which are massive Golems that can be used as bosses on your side. This unit is unique because it is range-based and shoots projectiles at enemies. The projectile is a massive ballista fired from its cannon, capable of one-shotting many elite Piglin units, including miniboss-tier ones like the Lava Launcher. Despite their significant impact, it's easy to forget about the Firsts when attacking a base.

3. First of Diorite

One of the standout units in Minecraft Legends is the summoning unit, which has the ability to summon golems to fight alongside you. This unit is incredibly valuable in battle, as it can take a beating and dish out damage as well. What sets this unit apart is its ability to spawn other mobs for you to control throughout the battle. However, as the battle rages on, your units will inevitably dwindle. It's worth noting that the unit has a disadvantage in that it takes a little while to spawn in more mobs, making it difficult to predict when they will arrive.

2. First of Brick

The First of Brick is one of the top units in Minecraft Legends thanks to its ability to deploy a shield that protects all friendly units. With this unit by your side, you can carry out all your tasks without worrying about your safety. Additionally, the First of Brick possesses unique abilities – when not attacking enemies, it can cast a healing area that patches up any wounds on your troops. This unit is especially helpful when storming a gate, as the shield it possesses gives you enough time to breach any base.

1. First of Stone  

The First of Stone is the best unit in Minecraft Legends, topping the list of all the First of Mobs in the game. This unit can take a beating and deal one to your enemies, just like all other First of Mobs. Its unique ability is the ability to throw large boulders at enemies, making it easy to clear out an area quickly and effectively.

Minecraft Legends gameplay mainly involves attacking outposts, which become more fortified as you progress through the game. It can take more time to infiltrate them, which can be challenging. However, the First of Stone unit makes it easier by launching huge boulders that can take down most buildings and structures effectively, making your task easier and faster.
