Just keep in mind that these are the best beginner builds, meaning they're intended for new players who need some guidance with their mech design. Furthermore, these are primarily early-game builds, which means they all consist of tech you'll get in the beginning chapters of the game. As a result, you can use these builds as a framework for your mech and then continue to enhance it as you unlock stronger weaponry and parts later in the game. 5. Well-Rounded Build

We've placed the most well-rounded build first in this list of the best beginner builds because we believe it will appeal to the majority of new players. With this build, your right arm unit employs a laser handgun that can be charged up to deal massive damage. In contrast, your left arm unit is a missile launcher that deals AOE damage. And because it's just too good to pass up, we've added the BML-G1/P02VTC-04 missile launchers on both shoulders. You'll have plenty of damage to deal with with this build, often more than you need. But that's always a good thing.

The focus of this build is to let you take to the skies and get right on top of the enemy. In your right hand is the The MG-014 LUDLOW machine gun. Following that, in your left is the HI-32: BU-TT/A energy sword. Together, these two can combo to two hit most enemies, and the energy sword itself will one-shot most. Then what other way to bring this build together than with a pair of rocket launchers on the shoulders? Overall, this is one of the best beginner builds for flying above the enemy, chunking their health with missiles, and then driving by with your machine gun and sword to finish off the stragglers.

Overall, because of this build's chunkiness, you can wield heavier weapons. So it goes without saying that you'll be dealing a lot of damage with this build. Some bosses, however, will be more difficult to defeat because you can't dodge their hits as effectively as the other builds on this list.
