Each main character has their own story that describes their thoughts, emotions, and secrets.

Similarly, you will work to piece together the secrets shown in this world and move through the delicate space between dreams and reality. Gameplay

As the game theme implies, the gameplay typically revolves around the opposite of what titles in the shooting genre stand for. Here, players create objects by shooting as opposed to destroying them, as portrayed in the official game trailer. But then again, the title is Dreams of Another, so that pretty much solves that dilemma. When a player shoots at these particles using their gun, they scatter and transform, and finally materialize into existence.

Independent game development studio Q-Games debuted this new title during Sony’s recent State of Play. Located in the heart of Kyoto, the studio is known for its famous PixelJunk franchise, The Tomorrow Children: Phoenix Edition, in addition to several Star Fox titles. Baiyon, the creative director behind this one-of-a-kind match, revealed the facts of the game, like the ideas that went into its design. One of the key factors of the story is that players in the game fire their weapons to make objects rather than destroy them.

Dreams of Another also has a world made using great point cloud technology. Its result was the creation of an ethereal, impressionistic dreamscape. Again, this world exists in a conceptual form, made up of many particles that react to your moves. The title also has a carefully structured soundtrack that evokes the quick and nebulous nature of its dream world. The director, Baiyon, blends different sounds from many different tools, synthesizers, non-instrumental sources, and field recordings to offer a rich audio background. 

The heavy visuals filled with particles are ideally added into the game, which is ideal for its release on both PS5 and PS VR2. Trailer

Fans took their first look at a fun third-person shooter that lets you create a dream world you can freely run. The trailer starts off by revealing a character who seems to be in his pyjamas. He moves through various areas armed with many guns. One area has horses running from a carousel, while another shows a robot running down a street. Further, the narrations in the trailer reveal other clues as to what will be featured in the gameplay. 

The narrator explains that destruction is by no means an end but a beginning of something beyond. The voice proceeds to explain that all human life is finite, and therefore, you experience a burst of emotions when something is destroyed. Developers of the game assure the excited fans that the game will use cutting-edge technology to make its unique visual style. Release Date and Platforms

Game developer Baiyon announced their upcoming game Dreams of Another during Sony’s recent State of Play on the 12th of February this year. So far, the game has received a lot of good reviews, and excited fans are eager to get their hands on it. The developers will launch the game sometime this year.
