10 Characters We Want in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney has way too many characters than we can cover in this article. You probably have your personal favorites, some of whom have already been ported to Disney Dreamlight Valley. So far, you can interact with Mickey Mouse and his friends, Stitch from Lilo & Stitch, Simba from The Lion King, Moana, Buzz Lightyear, and more. There are also some more Disney and Pixar movie characters in the pipeline that are planned to launch sometime in the future, including Tiana, Timon, and Pumbaa. However, many more characters are still glaringly missing from the roster, some of whom have the potential for some interesting storylines. Here are the most interesting characters we want in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
10. Jim Hawkins (Treasure Planet)
Jim Hawkins is the main character from the Disney animated film Treasure Planet, which premiered in 2002. In the show, he starts off as a rebel at odds with his mother, Sarah Hawkins. However, his story soon changes when he gets wind of fabled stories of the Treasure Planet.
He stumbles on the map to the Treasure Planet and sets off in the hope of finding its vast wealth and bettering his mother’s life. His life is definitely relatable, shifting from recklessness to wanting to do actual good for his loved ones. It’s a shame Hawkins’ representation in Disney media has been overlooked for a while now.
9. Li Shang (Mulan)
There’s a higher likelihood that Li Shang will be added to Disney Dreamlight Valley, seeing as Mulan and Mushu have already been added to the game. It’ll make for the perfect storyline as Mulan and Li Shang grow a romantic relationship and eventually end up marrying.
Li Shang plays the role of a captain of the Chinese army. His father is the General, and so he has big shoes to fill. He has to gain the respect of his men, which intertwines with the developing love interest with Mulan, who doesn’t always fit into the same agenda as the Chinese army.
8. Lightning McQueen (Cars)
It’d be interesting to see Lightning McQueen and his Cars friends added to Disney Dreamlight Valley. Perhaps they won’t be added as actual villagers you can interact with, but they would certainly spice up the scenery or as unlockable items. Alternatively, it may be interesting to be able to drive the cars, although that will require adding the mechanic to build a road connecting the villages. Or better still, the game could add a new universe where the Cars franchise is brought to life and includes racing games.
7. Kuzco (The Emperor’s New Groove)
Kuzco is the main character in The Emperor’s New Groove Disney film. He starts off as an emperor with an unlikeable personality, only to be transformed into an Illama by accident. But his experience as a lowly Illama brings valuable life lessons that could make for an intriguing storyline in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Kuzco must trust a village leader to help him become human again and regain his royal place on the throne. Beyond the potentially compelling story elements, Kuzco’s background could also introduce some fun and quirky gameplay.
6. Cinderella (Cinderella)
It’s a wonder how Cinderella hasn’t been added to Disney Dreamlight Valley, although there are rumors that she will be coming to the game sometime soon. We all know her story of surviving the harsh treatment of her stepmother and step sisters.
Her dreams come true, though, when her mice friends and fairy godmother help her attend the ball where she meets the Prince. Owing to how popular her story is, there are doubtlessly many fans who cannot wait to meet her in the realms of Disney Dreamlight Valley.
5. Maximus (Tangled)
It’s always a great idea to explore different ways of traversal in open-world life-simulation games, and Maximus could be just what we need in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Rapunzel’s loyal horse from Tangled can not only provide a faster means to traverse the world but can also bring fun story elements infused with his comical and “crime-fighting” personality. Maximus is definitely one of the best characters we want in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
4. Dumbo (Dumbo)
Another interesting way we could traverse Disney Dreamlight Valley’s realms is on Dumbo’s back. He’s a flying elephant with the most charming personality. Since 1941, Dumbo has been a favorite among Disney characters, alongside his buddy Timothy.
3. Miguel Rivera (Coco)
Miguel Rivera from Coco is a young boy born into a family that hates music, which is just grand when he wants to be a musician. He never gives up on his dream and eventually brings back the love of music to his family and home. Adding his character can introduce fun music to Disney Dreamlight Valley.
It can be interesting to merge music with the family values and ideals presented in the Coco film. There’s also the trip to the Land of the Dead that can add an interesting new area to explore.
2. Alice (Alice in Wonderland)
Alice is another one of the characters we want in Disney Dreamlight Valley. She’s conspicuously missing from the roster despite the Alice in Wonderland universe being an explorable area in the game. This makes us think Alice may be joining the villagers sometime in the future, hopefully, sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, it’d be a nice addition to also buy Alice’s blue dress alongside other Alice in Wonderland apparel.
1. Tarzan (Tarzan)
Beyond Tarzan’s loving and deep caring personality for his family, he comes with interesting ways to navigate the world. Popularly known as the “Ape Man,” it’d be so cool to see him swinging on the vines or strolling around the village near-naked. Moreover, the setting for the Tarzan movie could add an interesting variation to the Disney Dreamlight Valley realms.
When you consider the limitless ways you could decorate the jungles and tree houses, alongside enabling villagers to travel via swinging on the vines, the thought of it all definitely warms the heart.
