Interviews
Marc-André Charron, Senior Director of Brand Development at Psycho Bunny — Interview Series

Psycho Bunny, a leading men’s-first apparel brand based in Montreal, Canada, has just launched its own virtual store in the Roblox ecosystem. To learn a bit more about it, we thought we’d reach out to the brand ambassadors over at Psycho Bunny. Here’s how that brief, albeit incredibly insightful conversation went…
Thanks for taking the time to speak with us! Please could you tell us a bit about yourself? How did it all start for you, and what brought you to Psycho Bunny?
Marc-André: As a seasoned brand builder and marketer in fashion and sporting goods, I was immediately drawn to the brand through its magnetic logo and energy. I first encountered Psycho Bunny while I was living in Panama and wanted to get involved with helping to tell this brand’s amazing story as it aligned well with my own personal values.
Speaking of Psycho Bunny — what brought this idea to life, and what do you think it does to set itself apart from alternate brands?
Marc-André: Psycho Bunny’s ambition is to create an aspirational, recognizable and premium brand. We hope that our customers wear us as a badge of distinction that symbolizes their lifestyles. We set ourselves apart by our vibrant, bold attitude and our attention to quality and detail in our products.
We’d love to hear a bit more about your collaboration with Roblox. Tell us, how did this project come together, and more importantly, why Roblox?
Marc-André: Roblox obviously has a huge audience of people from all walks of life that spend their time in the environment. This is a really important place for us to reach new audiences and get the word out about our brand. We have been working with an agency partner, MVG, that has been guiding us through this process of inclusion in Roblox and we are learning more about how our brand can integrate with the environment and the audience on a daily basis. It has been a really fun experience and we are really looking forward to our second phase launching in Roblox towards the end of August.
Could you tell us about some of the merchandise that players can currently acquire from within the Roblox ecosystem?
Marc-André: We launched with an exclusive, limited edition offering. But as mentioned, we are expanding shortly. For now, players can access a pool floatie, which launched in a limited number earlier in July, and sold out in 30 minutes! This is a piece that is now still available for purchase through our Roblox shop, but it was really interesting to see how people responded to the limited number of free UGC.
As far as the other items go, we have a limited offering of our t-shirts and polos, which are also available in our retail stores or on our website, which can be worn by both men and kids. It was important for us knowing that a lot of families play Roblox together, to offer products that they could all wear together as well. We will have an expanded offering of clothing, and some unique items that will only be available in Roblox in this second phase.

So, could this new collaborative effort lead to another potential partnership between Psycho Bunny and other creative platforms?
Marc-André: We are always looking for new and innovative ways to connect with our audience. A new collaboration could always be a possibility, but for right now, we are excited about how this one is going and are looking forward to our next phase of launch within the environment.
And what’s next for Psycho Bunny, if you don’t mind me asking? How’s the fourth quarter looking for you? Any major plans to branch out or launch any fresh apparel?
Marc-André: Great question! We are always looking for new challenges, new ways to expand, and new opportunities. Our fourth quarter will feature a new holiday campaign, new product collections, and maybe even a little surprise for our consumers! Stay tuned, lots more to come in the next few months.
Is there a way for Psycho Bunny fans to stay up to date with the brand? Are there any events, newsletters, or social channels that we should be taking note of?
Marc-André: If you are in Canada, you can find us on-site at the National Bank Open tennis tournaments in Montreal and Toronto August 3-12. If you are not able to make one of the events, feel free to drop by one of our retail stores, we would love to have you. You can also visit our website www.psychobunny.com, sign up for our e-mail newsletter or follow us on all social channels @psychobunny
Any final words for our readers?
Marc-André: Take the time to visit us, either virtually or in person, and learn more about what we have to offer. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks for taking the time to chat.
Amazing. Thanks for your time!
