It may not be the best weapon at your disposal, but with its 20-round magazine and incredibly fast fire rate, it holds its own. So, if you're going to use a pistol why not use the best? Many players argue that the MBP.50 is the best sniper in the game because it has the highest damage rating, but this does not detract from the true winner. Furthermore, unlike the MBP, the SVD's five-mag clip eliminates the need to reload every time you shoot.

So far, this list of the best weapons in Far Cry 6 lacks a good stealth option. However, we see no better option for stealth than the Compound Bow. Designed for the most stealthy and skilled marksmen in the game, the Compound Bow is a fan favorite. It gets even better when you realize you can use Blast Arrows to take out helicopters and armored vehicles. Because sometimes, when going stealth, you have to say screw it and call in the big guns. The Compound Bow, thankfully, is a versatile weapon that can go in silent or loud.

4. El Caballero

Stealth is fun, but nothing beats charging in guns blazing. And the best way to make an entrance in Far Cry 6 is with the El Caballero grenade launcher. We had to include it as one of the best weapons in Far Cry 6 because it is simply a destructive beast of a weapon. If you're in a jam, this weapon is your best bet for getting out of it. Capable of taking down anything from NPCs to armored vehicles, the El Caballero is your get-out-of-jail-free card.

3. MP7

When your primary is running low and you need a good spray and pray option, turn to the MP7. This is without a doubt the best SMG in the game and consequently one of the best weapons in Far Cry 6. The MP7's base model is strong, but it really comes to life once you start adding attachments and mods. The Gun-Wrencher mod, for example, increases damage output to the body, which is useful for taking down tankier enemies.

2. MS16 S

It may be a bit controversial to have the MS16 S in second place for the best weapons in Far Cry 6. However, we're big fans of semi-automatic weapons like the MS16 S and its L variant. Furthermore, the more attachments you add to this weapon, the better and cooler it becomes. Not to mention you can get it early on in the game and it stays relevant throughout the rest of the game. So, if you don't have a sniper in your lineup, the MS16 S or MS16 L are good mid-to-long-range alternatives that are very fun to use.

1. SSGP-58

The SSGP-58 takes the number one spot for the best weapons in Far Cry 6. We just don't see any other option when it comes to selecting a primary assault rifle for your setup. The SSGP-58 has the highest accuracy of any assault rifle in the game. That is partially dependent on your aim, but regardless the SSGP-58 is an absolute laser with very forgiving recoil. As a result, the SSGP-58 virtually annihilates enemies. So much so that your main concern with the weapon will be ammo conservation.

If you thought the SSGP-58 melted enemies before, just wait until you add the Gut-Wrencher mod to increase its body damage. Then you'll truly see just how much of a powerhouse this weapon is. Nonetheless, there you have, the best weapons in Far Cry 6.
