Yet, even the most bizarre collabs manage to awe fans a thousand times over, adding way more abilities, magic, weapons, skins, and more features than you can dream of.
Crossovers are indeed an expansion, rather than a narrowing down of two major franchises. And Fortnite has been at the forefront of showcasing the sheer power and magic that combining two beloved franchises can create. Collaborations (collabs), crossovers, whatever you want to call them, ranging from movies to anime and even other gaming franchises, here are the best Fortnite crossovers of all time.
10. Stranger Things
The Stranger Things collaboration with Fortnite gave us a generous amount of characters and items to buy and unlock. Fans of the series will be happy to embody the personas of characters like Eleven, the Demogorgon, and Eddie. You also get items like Steve’s Bat and Eddie’s Spear. Moreover, the collab comes with a Telekinetic Power Breakfast emote, among other goodies.
Still, anyone who hasn’t watched Stranger Things will probably hate the idea of controlling kids wielding powerful weapons against enemies. There’s also the matter of price. Eleven costs a whopping 2,500 V-Bucks, for example, and it misses a few minor details like her tattoo.
9. The Avengers Vs. Galactus
Marvel’s The Avengers have also found a second home in Fortnite. And best of all, it even comes with a story. Well, not the most profound, with an in-game comic book explaining things. Thor and Galactus are the first to arrive on Fortnite’s Island, lured by its power, and then reinforcements from Iron Man, Captain America, and Wolverine.
8. DC’s Batman: Zero Point
DC’s Batman: Zero Point is not much different in story. When a sudden rift appears in Gotham City, it pulls Batman into the Fortnite world, stripping away any memory of who or where he’s from. Admittedly, the story and action don’t make up the best Fortnite crossovers of all time. At least not compared to other notable mentions. But it still carries an intense brawl to the last bat standing.
7. Rick and Morty
A mecha Morty. An old scientist. What could be better than? Well, the design of Morty’s suit had a bulky enough shoulder to obstruct your view. Otherwise, everything else is splendid. Fortnite authentically and accurately captures the designs and items from the show. You’ve got your Butter Robot back bling, your Space Snake pickaze, and a fun Get Schwifty emote. Overall, it’s a pretty decent pack, capturing beloved characters and items in intricate detail.
6. Street Fighter
The fighting franchise to receive Fortnite’s undivided attention is Street Fighter, so much so that it took two crossovers to bring out the best of both worlds. In Round One and Two of 2021’s Fortnite events, you were treated to fan-favorite characters like Ryu, Cammy, Guile, and Chun-Li. Each one is unique, be it their emotes or reactive back blings.
But Street Fighter is so huge, and there are certainly more characters missing in action, though possibly slated for future collabs.
5. Dragon Ball
With Dragon Ball, Fortnite didn’t just introduce packs with skins, emotes, and back blings. It curated an entire event around the popular anime franchise. And as a result, both fans and newcomers got to enjoy more challenges, rewards, and things to do in the Fortnite world.

Still, you got skins of your favorite characters, and enjoyed mechanics and upgrades adapted from Dragon Ball.

When Naruto’s crossover became public, Fortnite fans couldn’t control themselves. This was truly a long-awaited and anticipated collab that didn’t let us down. It came with a Naruto-themed map fans could explore, taking control of various characters from the anime, and unlocking a new NPC, weapon, and several other items. And the cel-shading of the skins is impeccable, faithfully capturing the detail and flair of Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, and more.
3. Peter Griffin
It’s absolutely bananas that Peter Griffin of Family Guy makes it to the best Fortnite crossovers of all time. He’s not the most agile or skilled in combat. But hey, video games are inherently fun, and adding Griffin achieved the exact effect it was meant for. His character is even more buff than in the show, appearing like he’s been hitting the gym.
Well, the animated short film, in the visual style of Family Guy, says different, with the sitcom dad choosing to drink expired Slurp Juice for a quick boost of muscle strength in readiness for the Battle Bus. Or perhaps his new build is to avoid him having a larger hitbox than usual, and making it easier to eat bullets. In any case, it’s hilarious and just the perfect Fortnite crossover idea we need.
2. Star Wars
I’m inclined to think that Star Wars would always be a great idea, no matter where the ship lands. And in Fortnite, it was one hell of a landing, capturing the unique details and lore that set the Star Wars universe apart. From themed vehicles like the X-Wings to the TIE Fighters and blasters, Fortnite went all out in capturing the true power of The Force and the inner spirit of a Jedi warrior.
1. Marvel’s Doctor Strange
Equally rich with lore and content is Marvel’s Doctor Strange. First is the Doctor Strange skin, which, along with its flowing cape and cloak’s movement, puts you right in the shoes of the powerful Sorcerer Supreme. It comes with The Book of the Vishanti as the back bling, cementing the mystical theme of the Doctor Strange movies.
Overall, it’s an incredibly detailed and well-animated crossover, with dynamic takes on both the cape and the summoning of your pickaxe weapon.
