5 Rarest Pokémon in Pokémon Legends Arceus
With over 240 Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, catching them all is a tall order. With that, you must search far and wide, in every nook and cranny of Hisui for the location of some Pokémon. Then there's the possibility that the rarest Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, won't even spawn half the time. But, in order to complete your Pokédex, you must battle the elements and catch the rarest Pokémon in Arceus, which we have listed here.
There are many Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that are considered rare. However, due to their extremely low spawn rate, difficult location to reach, or the fact that you can't sneak up on them for the life of you, these five are notably the most difficult of the rarest to catch. That's why going to catch the game's rarest Pokémon can be a controller-breaking experience. But, before you take on that challenge yourself, read on to learn what makes these five Pokémon the rarest and most difficult to catch in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
5. Elekid
Every Poké trainer should have a good selection of different Pokémon class types at their disposal. And this Pokémon, as well as its class type, should not be overlooked, as it is one of the strongest of its type in the game. That is the electric type Pokémon, Elekid. This Pokémon evolves into Electabuzz, and then into Electivire, its final and strongest form. However, being one of the strongest electric types in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Elekid is also one of the Rarest Pokémon in the game.
Elekid is found in the Coronet region, in the Cloudcap Pass. Which can be difficult to find in the first place, and you're unlikely to do so until late in the game. However, don't expect him to be alone once you get there; if the rare chance Elekid does spawn, he'll be surrounded by his evolved form, Electabuzz. If you spook one of them, the entire gang will be chasing you out of the region. That's why you need the luck that he spawns and the ability to sneak up on him while remaining undetected.
4. Cherubi
When you think of the cutest Pokémon in the game, what comes to mind? Eevee, Cyndaquil, or probably the various baby Pokémon in the game. Often forgotten about but easily a top contender is Cherubi. And although Cherubi may not be the best Pokémon to fight within the game, there's still one of the most adorable companions to have with you. But getting one as your sidekick is no easy task.
Cherubi can be found throughout the Coronet Highlands region but not wandering around. Instead, Cherubi likes to hide in the blue-shaking trees, and there's a sparse amount of them in the region. And while you may think that narrows it down, it also makes your chances of shaking one of these trees and having a Cherubi fall, extremely low. With that, Cherubi's evolved form, Cherrim will simply just leap from these trees away from you.
3. Munchlax
Snorlax is one of the most well-known Pokémon of all time. The big, lazy teddy bear has always been a fan favorite, not only for his power but also for his sleepy demeanor. However, hidden behind that is a very powerful Pokémon, and to add him to your Pokédex, you must first capture his younger evolution Munchlax. Who may not be the most difficult to apprehend once found, but getting to him is a daunting task.
Munchlax is located in Obsidian Fieldlands, one of the early regions you explore in the game. However, he's placed in one of the most daring areas of that region, Deertrack Heights. This mountainous area is full of challenging Pokémon, let alone is hard enough to traverse around. That's why it's a bit annoying searching around these rocky cliffs to find a sleeping Munchlax. What makes it even harder is that he possesses one of the lowest spawn rates of all the Pokémon, consequently making him one of the rarest Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
2. Giratina
Giratina is a member of the creation trio, a fan term for three of the game's most powerful legendary Pokémon. However, because of Giratina's legendary stature, he's no easy catch, and there are several steps you must take if you want him in your crew. The first step is to finish the main story, which can take up to 30 hours to complete. And, as if that wasn't difficult enough, you'll have to fight your way through a number of battles just to encounter the legendary Pokémon.
You must capture Azelf, Mesprit, Uxie, Heatran, Cresselia, and Regigigas after completing the main story. Following that, you must collect all of the Arceus Plates. Both of these tasks alone are a lengthy and challenging process with a whole host of steps riddled within them. However, once you've finished them, you can proceed to the summit of Mt. Coronet. But before you can fight Giratina, you must first defeat Volo, and then finally you can battle and obtain Giratina after you beat him.
1. Arceus
Arceus is the rarest Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which should come as no surprise. After all, the game bears his name. That is why, if you thought catching Giratina was difficult, you will be astounded by how difficult it is to catch Arceus. To begin, you must capture Giratina, which requires you to complete all of his necessary steps. Then, to make things even more difficult, you must catch all of the remaining Pokémon in the Pokedex.
Only once you do this will you be able to access the hidden staircase at the Temple of Sinnoh that reveals his location. Reach the top of that flight of stairs and you'll be face to face with Arceus. Who, is easily one of, if not the hardest Pokémon to fight and capture in the game. So, to say Arceus is one of the rarest Pokémon in Legends Arceus is an understatement, as he's also one of the most difficult to fight and capture.
