Livespins Partners with Ezugi to Bring Streams to Live Asian Games

Livespins officially partnered with game studio Ezugi in September, in a move that puts Ezugi alongside the likes of Evolution, Nolimit City, Yggdrasil, Playson and Relax Gaming. The partnership comes nearly 1.5 years after Evolution acquired Livespins, and marks the slow but steady expanse of a new kind of live gaming experience.
The rise of live streams in gaming, and live hosted games is no mere fad. It is driven by a culture of streaming, social interaction and community, something with tremendous potential for players and operators alike. Livespins, which is one of the most prominent players on this revolutionary live iGaming scene, is on the rise as it snapped up two iGaming licences this year, signaling its desire to go global.
What is Livespins
Livespins is a B2B company that connects operators to social streaming platforms and integrates these into the casino lobby. The company was acquired by Evolution in 2024, and, later that year, was merged into Evolution’s One Stop Shop content delivery system. The idea behind the partnerships, most recently with Ezugi, is to link the world of casino game streaming with the operators.
Instead of having players watch slot streamers on external platforms like Twitch or Kick, which have hugely popular gambling streams, Livepins intends to shift the streaming content to casino operators. Thus, gamers stay within the casino environment, and they can also benefit from various additional features. For example, the Bet Behind, a feature that is now gaining prominence among live casino dealer games. It also turns the live gaming environment into something more social, and interactive for gamers.
In 2025, Livespins acquired iGaming licences in Gibraltar and Malta. The Gibraltar gambling licence is a critical step forward for the company as it can then look to break into the UKGC market. The Malta iGaming licence, on the other hand, is one of the most respected gambling authorities in Europe. And thus, it gives Livespins good standing in the broader European iGaming market.
Gaming Streaming Culture and Risks
The popularity of live-streaming games is nothing especially new. Twitch and YouTube channels featuring live casino game streaming has been around for years, and many popular influencers have gained followings across these media networks. Watching the rollercoaster that is slots gaming is a source of entertainment in itself. And it is risk free, as you won’t lose anything by watching someone else play. Yet, responsible gambling authorities are dubious about the ethics behind the culture.
A study conducted by the University of Sydney analyzed the effects of gambling live streams on viewers. The research, based on a survey of 300 gambling live stream viewers, had many intriguing conclusions.
- 55% watch live blackjack, roulette and other casino games
- 51.3% watch live slots streams
- 39% watch live poker streams
Over 50% of people surveyed were in the 18-30 age bracket. The watching length habits showed that 53.4% of people watched live streams for anywhere between 1-2 hours at a time. To satisfy the responsible gambling organizations, only 14.1% of viewers stated that the content made them feel more likely to gamble, and 32.8% suggested it had mildly encouraged them to gamble.
However, those numbers may not reflect the real impact these streams are having on viewers. A relatively new territory, more research needs to be done on the effect of live gaming streams, and longitudinal ones that measure their effects. It is easy to imagine how they would prompt emotional triggers and normalize gambling, or give viewers the wrong impression about risk taking.
Live Hosted Slots Gaming Experience
For operators, live hosted slots are a new way to drive engagement and introduce social aspects to the gaming. Adding this social element is likely to bolster engagement among users, through live chats and interactive streams. The idea would be to incorporate:
- Bet Behind Streamers Functions: You can bet with the streamer, so if they win, you will also win
- Engage in Chat: Using emojis, reactions, and conversations helps to build a community. Players may also find options to directly interact with the streamers themselves
- Discover Games Organically: An unspoken effect is the opportunity for you to watch a streamer play a new game, which you can then get a feel for and decide whether you want to play for yourself or not
Unlike standard online casino lobbies, the streaming narrative gives players a context, and a shared experience. You can come back to the stream at any point and pick it up straight away. It essentially makes a community building show or influencer stream, a tool casinos can use for marketing their services to new players or gaining more engagement from existing players.
Ezugi’s Games Portfolio
Ezugi is a part of Evolution Group, and has been creating live dealer games since 2012. The game software provider does not stick to the classics, it has also branched out into:
- Teen Patti
- Sic Bo
- Andar Bahar
- Various Baccarat Variants
The studio focuses on games specifically for the Asian casino gaming market. Through the streamed and host-led play, it could unlock a huge potential for Evolution and Livespins in the Asian market that has grown significantly in recent years.

How the Collab Will Proceed
The integration will hopefully see Ezugi’s games become available within Livespins’ platform. Operators already offering Livespins through Evolution’s One Stop Shop distribution channel will gain access to Ezugi content, which will be a major plus for them too.
For players, it means access to a wider variety of live streamed content, specifically with the exotic Asian games in Ezugi’s library. For Ezugi’s partnered operators, the opportunity to diversify their offering with a greater variety of Asian options will give them a massive leap forward in the emerging Asian market. The partnership also signals a broader strategic direction. Evolution is using Livespins not just as an add on product. It is thinking forward and building a new category in iGaming, one that blends streaming, live hosting, and real-money play into a hybrid experience.
