For example, one trial may require you to set insane speed records on booster packs, while another may require you to jump through hoops. You can choose from 15 racing cars, all hot rods. In real life, hot rods are classic American cars optimized for more power and speed. The cars vary in make, model, and overall design to suit varying tastes and preferences. Moreover, they vary in crucial performance aspects, including weight, speed, handling, and boost.

However, you can power up your hot rod to increase its overall performance. For example, you can fit your hot rod with a booster pack to increase its speed, albeit temporarily. You can also fit it with better suspension for easier handling. Interestingly, powering up your hot rod also improves the overall racing experience. It also makes the overall gameplay experience more engaging as you continue investing in your hot rod’s performance. Notably, powering up also makes the game replayable, as every racing experience is unique.

You race on epic tracks with diverse themes and features. They include the streets of Cyber City, the slippery slopes of Snow Summit, the Mariachi Mile, and more. Some of the tracks feature hazards and obstacles that racers must avoid, while others are clean and smooth. For example, you can run into dogs when racing through people’s backyards. Interestingly, you can switch between Mirrored, Forward, Reversed, and Twisted modes to add more chaos to the tracks.

Besides obstacles on the tracks, you can also use diverse items to essentially attack your opponents. For example, you can use the Homing Dart to target the leader or drop the Disc to slow opponents behind you. Your opponents can also use items against you, and you can protect yourself using defensive items like the Shield. There are lots of diverse, creative items to use, and the diverse effects look epic.

The game features single-player and multiplayer modes. The multiplayer mode supports up to four players and includes a split-screen mode. Interestingly, you can customize your characters to make them stand out from the rest. You can fit them with diverse accessories and outfits with wacky designs.
