10 Best Weapons in Battlefield 6, 2026
Name the best games with the snappiest, tightest, and most satisfying shooting and combat, and Battlefield won’t be far off your list. It’s a niche that the series has specialized in, alongside large-scale environmental destruction, of course. And part of what makes all that chaos and warfare so damn thrilling is the weapons.
Leaving out the small hiccup the series had of futuristic weapons that didn’t fit well with the realistic, military settings we’ve grown accustomed to, most entries have thrived on primary and secondary firearms that are historically accurate and put you right in the shoes of combatants in World War II.
As many as 46 weapons are available to you in the newest entry in the series, spanning assault rifles, shotguns, SMGs, and so on. But which are the best weapons in Battlefield 6, actually worth chasing?
10. PW7A2 (SMG)
When considering a submachine gun, especially one proficient at close-range encounters, you might want to consider the PW7A2 SMG. It comes thriving on a high fire rate and low recoil. That means trigger-happy folks can enjoy speedy shots taken even when overwhelmed by multiple enemies.
And with the low recoil, you can easily manage its pushback. It’s not too heavy, thus easier to move around with, and can also shoot enemies at mid-range. Only the damage output per bullet can be a bit wanting, so do consider this.
9. KTS100 MK8 (LMG)
For a light machine gun, you can opt for the KTS100 MK8, which gives you the best accuracy and the lowest recoil of all LMGs. That alone makes it an efficient choice for pushing back on opposing teams coming at you from faraway distances.
You don’t want, though, enemies to close the distance to you, as the KTS100 MK8 will then let you down. Meanwhile, the damage output isn’t too great, as well as the fire rate: also drawbacks to consider.
8. M2010 ESR (Sniper Rifle)
We all love a good sniper rifle, as soon as you can master accurate and precise long-range shots at least. And the M2010 ESR comes in pretty good in eighth place.
It will fire precise shots at speedy rates and feel so satisfying to pull off. With attachments, you can fire even quicker shots. However, you’ll have to make do with its stingy magazine.
7. NVO-228E (Assault Rifle)
Next, we have the NVO-228E assault rifle. This one’s for aggressors looking to inflict high damage on enemies. With only three shots, you’ll easily kill enemies near you. However, the rate of fire can be a little slower.
6. M4A1 (Carbine)
In sixth place of the best weapons in Battlefield 6, we have the M4A1 Carbine. This one remedies any slow rate of fire you might have been dealing with. Plus, the accuracy of your shots will be right on point.
It deals relatively high damage, killing enemies in four shots. But you need to optimize its advantages by approaching enemies. Otherwise, its effectiveness fades the farther enemies are from you.
5. SGX (SMG)
The SGX SMG gun, on the other hand, has a lot working in its favor. For starters, it fires shots rapidly than most. And still, you’ll have relatively enough bullets left in your magazine before needing to reload.
Not to mention that the speed of reloading is relatively high as well. But its best work is achieved at close range, with the impact reducing the farther you are from enemies.
4. SVK-8.6 (Marksman Rifle)
Aggressors can also consider the SVK-8.6 Marksman Rifle. Just two shots are enough to take down enemies. And the range won’t matter, as it thrives from medium to even long range. Even when far away, the accuracy is pretty high.
However, you want to make the most of each bullet as they fire relatively slowly compared to other guns, and on top of that, the magazine is relatively smaller. So, you have to be a proficient player to go this route.
3. KORD 6P67 (Assault Rifle)
If you’re the trigger-happy type of player who fires without much thought or caution, the KORD 6P67 might be the perfect assault rifle for you. It comes with a speedy rate of fire, ensuring the shooting maintains high momentum. And the recoil is also pretty good to manage and control. You can make the most of it at close to medium range, pushing back on groups of enemies.
However, you also have to consider the damage rate, which takes five shots to take down enemies up close. So, you’re going to have to make the tradeoff between enjoying steady use and crowd control, over relatively lower damage output that reduces the farther you get from enemies.
2. M87A1 (Shotgun)
Shotguns are often powerhouses at close-range combat, and the M87A1 doesn’t fall too far from the weapon class tree. Coming in second among the best weapons in Battlefield 6, this shotgun fires slower than other weapons, sure, but only one shot is needed to take down an enemy.
Although the total time to kill is most efficient the closer you are to the enemy, you can use upgrades and different ammunition types to optimize its kill rate even from faraway distances.
1. DRS-IAR (LMG)
And finally, the top-ranking weapon in Battlefield 6 you absolutely want in your corner is the DRS-IAR LMG. This one’s good at long-range combat, thriving on speedy shots per minute. When your already sizeable magazine is out of bullets, you can always reload pretty quickly, wasting no time in fights. Furthermore, it inflicts a high damage output on enemies for a long-range weapon.
This isn’t to say that you can’t use it for close-range encounters, delivering the same pleasures you enjoy with a high damage output and quick reload. It then makes the DRS-IAR the best weapon in Battlefield 6 for practically anyone, whether you’re an aggressor or like to hang back during intense battle moments. Regardless of your play style, the DRS-IAR will adapt to your needs with almost no drawbacks.
