The Yggdrasill Armlet armor, billed as a “superb armlet,” offers competitive defense against physical and elemental damage. It gives you 28 points against all regular attacks. Meanwhile, you also enjoy 28 points against all magic attacks. Besides its balanced defense, though, Yggdrasill makes a good case for wielding it thanks to its six materia slots. 3. Garm Bangle

Another armor that unlocks in the late game, although it proves to be well worth the wait, is the Garm Bangle. It gives you 59 points against physical damage, drastically higher than most armor pieces. Further, you enjoy 28 points against all elemental attacks dealt to you. As for customization, you have five Materia slots to tinker around with. 

Garm Bangle may have imbalanced defense stats. However, its physical defense is too good to ignore. To unlock Garm Bangle’s full potential, you can upgrade it to the Enhanced Garm Bangle, which gives you a whopping 62 points against regular attacks and 29 points against elemental damage.

2. Valkyrian Bangle

Not only does the Valkyrian Bangle look stunning, it also gives you a high defense against enemy attacks. Specifically, you enjoy a whopping 64 points against regular attacks. Meanwhile, you also have 30 points against magic attacks, which, while cut in half, is still relatively higher compared to most armor pieces. Consequently, Valkyrian Bangle is the perfect armor for providing the best protection against physical attacks. And, with its six materia slots, you can increase the potency of your magic attacks as you see fit.

1. Cetran Bracer

If you’re looking for a well-rounded armor piece, you can consider Cetran Bracer, particularly because, in addition to balancing defense against both physical and magic attacks, it gives you a whopping 42 points worth of protection. It’s unsurprising that unlocking the Cetran Bracer requires trudging the story forward to the later stages of the game. Moreover, Cetran Bracer provides a whopping eight materia slots to tinker around with. Its the highest number of slots you can get from the armor pieces in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
