Gameplay

Sunderfolk is a tactical, turn-based combat game. It is designed and customized as a couch co-op game, so you and up to three of your friends can play together on your mobile devices as controllers. Each player will choose from six different classes: Arcanist, Bard, Berserker, Pyromancer, Ranger, or Rogue. Each class has different abilities, so whether you like supporting your team or fighting on the front lines, there will be a character that works just for your style. The overall goal is to combine your strengths and work as a cohesive team to overcome the challenges ahead.

In this game, the battle will not depend on a turn-based order. In fact, everyone can take his or her time and make some actions if needed, making it much more flexible and fast in pace. That means you need to think on the spur of the moment, as you may need to change your strategy along with the evolution of the battle. New enemies and obstacles can pop out with no announcement at all, so you and your team may need to be alert and adjust to it. There will be some sort of difference for each mission from challenges, so you will feel the uniqueness of fights with each mission.

Players will utilize their character’s Skill Cards against their opponents in combat. It makes them depict the several actions that can be carried out and individual talents of each class. This creates a range of strategic choices on which one can act during the game. There is no concept of turn order, so you may act when it suits best for the situation. Sunderfolk indeed promises to be a great co-op experience which fun will come with how well you and your friends work together in order to get the success.
