How we rate games

We review games regularly and the list below are some of key factors that influence a review:

• Fun factor
• Graphics
• Sound effects
• Immersive experience
• Genre bending or stereotypical
• How long the game is
• Wow factor
• Multiplayer or single player
• Replayability

Score

The score is out of 10 and this score reflects all of the factors that are discussed above.

Since we have always been torn on if a game deserves a certain score, such as 7 or 8 out of 10, or a 5 or 6 out of 10, we allow our reviewers to give half points. For example, a 7.5 or a 5.5, this enables our reviews to be super specific and as accurate as possible.

Honesty

Reviews are subject to personal taste but our reviewers strive to offer unbiased reviews. We always give our honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on game reviews. The views and opinions expressed on this website are purely the author’s and are not influenced by monetary compensation, a free game demo, or any other outside influence.

Do you ever change your review scores if a game is improved after its official release?

This only happens under extreme circumstances, if the game is objectively different enough to deserve a new review or a second look we will publish a new review. This is a rare occurrence.
