Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Reaches 10 Million Sales Milestone in Three Months

Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has hit another sales milestone. The game has sold 10 million copies as of February 4, 2024. This accomplishment comes just 107 days after its release, marking a remarkable achievement for the developers and the gaming community.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launched exclusively for the PlayStation 5 in 2023. The game continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its immersive gameplay and captivating narrative. The video game was developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. 

Sony had previously praised Spider-Man 2 as the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios game. The game sold over 2.5 million copies within a 24-hour window after release. The momentum continued to build as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 reached the 5 million mark in sales just 11 days after its release. 

This unprecedented surge in sales has propelled Spider-Man 2 ahead of its predecessors. Spider-Man 2 surpassed the previous record held by God of War Ragnarok as the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios game.
