Invincible GG, a pioneer in the field of AI-powered horse racing and blockchain integration, is working tirelessly to elevate the foundation of its mobile-based platform, Owners Club—a powerful and competitive tool that enables users to gain direct ownership of AI assets and effectively evolve their own digital stable of NFTs, thus providing “constantly changing attributes, skills, preferences, and tactical inclinations.”

In a bid to learn more about Invincible GG’s strategy for enhancing Owners Club and the new era of AI-driven horse racing, I recently caught up with the team.

We appreciate you sitting down and speaking with us today. Before we delve into the AI-centric world of Owners Club and the impact that it is currently having in the virtual horse racing circuit, let’s talk a bit about Invincible GG. Would you mind telling us more about the studio, as well as how it managed to find its feet out on the racecourse?

Invincible GG’s origins trace back to the founder, Jonathan Strause and his company (The Bellwether Group’s)which worked with leading independent game studios during the 2001-2010 gaming boom.  During this time, we witnessed genres merging into entirely new categories, with innovative studios like Bioware and Naughty Dog pushing boundaries. This period laid the groundwork for the types of immersive gameplay that dominate today and the concept of converging gameplay that sits at the heart of what Invincible GG (IGG) is all about.

Invincible GG’s journey into virtual racing began with a collaboration with VIS Entertainment in Dundee, Scotland. Renowned for their open sandbox game, State of Emergency, and their experimenting with “intelligent” virtual horse racing technology, a pioneering concept at the time, VIS was way ahead of its market.

VIS had developed a beta racing game (VISiTV) that utilized intelligent NPC models and advanced simulation technology. However, lacking scaled distribution channels, the project struggled. We saw its potential and acquired the technology from VIS, and Jonathan shifted his career from running a merchant bank to running a startup video game company. 

After years of technological development, regulatory work, and patenting, we evolved this vision into what is now Owners Club and Winners Circle —a blend of skill gaming, AI, and Web3 technology in a unique mobile virtual racing experience, which races are disseminated for legal wagering.

Moving back to Owners Club — how would you best describe it to the gaming community?

Owners Club is a groundbreaking mobile game from Invincible GG that merges the excitement of horse racing, skill gaming, and blockchain within a mobile gaming experience. Designed for fans of both gaming and thoroughbred racing, Owners Club brings the thrill of real-world racing to players’ fingertips by letting them digitally own, train, and race 3D-rendered horses. Players engage in fast-paced races on iconic tracks, combining skillful gameplay with the authenticity of live racing events. This realistic touch is backed by a partnership with the horse racing industry, providing a familiar and thrilling experience for millions of racing fans globally.

Owners Club is the only mobile racing game of its kind, integrating blockchain to allow direct ownership of AI-powered horses that players can purchase, train, and even sell. Horses in Owners Club aren’t just digital avatars; they come with unique genetic traits and personalities. Each horse has characteristics like stamina, energy, and preferences that affect race outcomes, creating a true-to-life simulation. Please could you tell us more about the NFTs and other benefits that are available in Owners Club? What sorts of rewards await us on the racecourse?

Owner’s Club takes ownership and player control over owned assets to a new level. Invincible GG has also introduced a groundbreaking concept – AI-powered NFTs.

These are not static digital collectibles; they are dynamic and multifunctional entities. AI NFTs within the platform possess constantly changing attributes, skills, preferences, and tactical inclinations. What sets them apart is their owner-guided development.

Owners have the power to shape the destiny of their AI-powered NFTs, turning them into unique digital athletes with evolving capabilities.

The dynamic nature of Owner’s Club NFT attributes is monumental. Unlike static NFTs, where the value is predetermined, these AI-powered NFT horses evolve based on the player’s actions.

Owners can continually improve their AI NFTs through various activities, such as training and skill development. The enhancements become integral to the NFT, directly influencing its value. Success in competitions is another factor that contributes to the NFT’s value, reflecting the player’s skill and dedication.

Do you have any words of advice for those who’ve yet to join the Owners Club community? Care to share any tips for finding a foothold on the leaderboard?

For those just starting in Owners Club, here’s my advice:

• Start Slow: Begin with the Grade 3 Non-Invincible Horse. This entry-level horse lets you learn the game’s basics without pressure, offering 100 attribute points and 75 skill points to develop at your own pace.
• Focus on developing Attributes and applying the right Training Points: As you familiarize yourself with how these points work together, your horse’s performance will improve. Experience is key here—practice and patience will help you build the skills for success.
• Gradual Progression: Once you’re comfortable, consider advancing to higher-grade horses. Grade 2 and Grade 1 Invincible Horses offer 200 and 300 attribute points, respectively, unlocking more growth potential.
• Train Thoroughly: Fully develop your horse’s skills and attributes. The game isn’t pay-to-win, so consistent training is crucial to climb the leaderboard.
• Set Specific Goals: Focus on building one horse to compete in a specific area. Then, add other horses trained for different distances to expand your leaderboard presence over time.

I hope that helps. No two horses are the same, and as they say, “every horse has to run its own race.” 

So, what does the future hold for Owners Club? Is there a roadmap for the forthcoming season? Are there any crucial details that we should be taking note of?

The future of Owners Club focuses on strategic partnerships, global expansion, and a comprehensive roadmap designed to optimize gameplay and monetize through blockchain and real-money gaming.

Coming off our soft launch in partnership with the QIPCO British Champions Series we will be introducing new gameplay into Owners Club ( mini-missions, fantasy-sports-style daily and weekly contests, and new in-game features to engage our players. We will be minting and rolling out the in-game utization of our game token, $IGGT. Players can buy and utilize the token within the game, transforming it into a central element of in-game and real-world interactions.

We will continue to expand our partnerships with iconic tracks and racing events from IRL Thoroughbred Flat Racing. Look for these announcements in the weeks ahead. Our goal is to have a full annual calendar of fantastic real-world events that are tied to in-game contests for our community.

In February we will be introducing parimutuel and fixed-odds betting on its races in Panama, Mexico, and Nevada. Alongside token functionality, Owners Club will release its Breeding feature, enabling further engagement and monetization.

After February 2025, Owners Club will continue to expand gameplay by introducing Breeding and the ability for players to race with their friends in “Racing Clubs.”  We will also continue to scale the game globally with partners as we continue to refine our ecosystem unit economics and optimize gameplay for our owner-players. 

Through these initiatives, Owners Club aims to become the premier virtual racing platform globally, akin to EA SPORTS FC (FIFA) franchise in soccer.
