10. Euporia

Euporia is a twin blade that marries well with Faith builds. Its stats, though, are a little lower, at 84 physical damage. On the other hand, Euporia can power itself up drastically as long as you keep attacking enemies.

9. Star-Lined Sword

A katana you could consider is the Star-Lined Sword. It’s best for intelligence builds and dexterity. Stat-wise, you’ll gain 82 physical and 82 magic damage and 34 physical and 48 magical defense against enemies. The stats are comparatively lower. However, you can make up for it by taking advantage of the sword’s Onze’s Line of Stars skill, which increases the damage of each consecutive slash through an enemy. Meanwhile, the sword has a special effect of causing your enemy to suffer extensive blood loss.

Spears will never go out of style. Wielded by Messmer the Impaler, Spear of the Impaler speaks for itself. It deals considerable physical damage on enemies, chipping away 85 points with each strike. You also protect yourself from both physical and elemental-based incoming attacks at 48 and 32 points, respectively. While the stats may be comparatively lower than the other best weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the spear adds the Messmer’s Assault skill. This unlocks room to perform a string of combo attacks, which you can wrap up with a powerful slam of the spear to the ground for a significant AoE attack.

All types of enemies will fall at your mercy as you can inflict physical, magic, and even fire-based damage. For physical damage, the twin blades deal 103 damage, and 66 points for magic. Meanwhile, you protect yourself against physical and magical incoming attacks at up to 66 and 47 points, respectively.

6. Backhand Blade

Gamers who are quick on their feet can opt for the Backhand Blade weapon in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. It’s a strong and powerful weapon that has high dexterity. With how light the weapon is, it’s incredible that it deals 105 physical damage on enemies. Meanwhile, your defense is catered to, taking away 40 physical and 30 magical points out of all incoming attacks. If you wield this weapon, though, you have to be extra keen to take full advantage of the Blind Spot skill. This lets you attack an enemy from their blind spot, striking at a high speed so they don’t see you coming.

Worth noting, the greatsword is extremely light, allowing you to move swiftly and clear battle arenas with ease.

4. Fire Knight’s Greatsword

Another Colossal Sword you can consider is the Fire Knight’s Greatsword. It fits better into Faith and, more specifically, Fire-based builds. But its physical damage is also quite impressive, with a whopping 147 points per strike. Meanwhile, you’ll be protected against all sustained damage by 69 points for physical incoming attacks and 42 points for magical attacks. Moreover, you can withstand staggering using the Stamp skill, although for a short time.

3. Anvil Hammer

Categorized in the Colossal Sword group, the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword is a reliable weapon for which to aim. Most especially, Arcade builds who want to take advantage of the Greatsword’s strength and dexterity. Specifically, it gives you 154 physical and 46 magical attack damage and 80 physical and 55 magical defense against enemies. It’s a pretty sweet deal, primarily on the physical damage front. Moreover, it also comes equipped with the White Light Charge skill that gives you access to light magic against foes. This makes it the best of the very best weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
