All Confirmed Activities in Grand Theft Auto 6

The goal in Grand Theft Auto continues to be making your in-game life as real as possible. From the clothes you wear to the clubs you visit and the jobs you pursue, every feature in the franchise tries to simulate real-world activities and scenarios. Over the years, these activities have gotten more dynamic and immersive. Fan-favorites like working out will actually show your in-game character growing more buff. Meanwhile, winning street races plays a huge factor in earning you the coveted street king reputation.
Grand Theft Auto 6 may have been delayed further to November 19, 2026. But Rockstar Games isn’t holding out on us, revealing some of the exciting settings, characters, and activities we can expect. Although we haven’t yet received any official gameplay footage, we can speculate on some of the side quests and minigames you’ll be involved in based on the official trailers and screenshots revealed so far. Below, you’ll find a comprehensive list of all confirmed activities in Grand Theft Auto 6 to date.
All Confirmed Activities in Grand Theft Auto 6
Let’s start with the confirmed activities that you can definitely expect to be in Grand Theft Auto 6, tailored to the sunny and outdoorsy Vice City, Leonida setting.
19. Fishing

Although it’s not clear how extensive fishing will be in Grand Theft Auto 6, it’s, in fact, a confirmed activity, casting your fishing rod from your boat. But will you be able to eat your catch, store them in your inventory, or sell them? That remains unclear.
18. Shopping
It’s not a new feature to be able to enter buildings in Grand Theft Auto and buy stuff, whether guns, clothes, food, drugs, or more.
17. Customizing Hair, Clothes, and Cars
Entering a hair salon to customize your style is also likely to be a feature in Grand Theft Auto 6. The same goes for cars at in-game dealerships and showrooms.
16. Playing Billiards (Pool)
Previous San Andreas and GTA IV games featured playing pool. So, it’s no surprise that the minigame returns in Grand Theft Auto 6, with features for challenging NPCs or even friends and online players.
15. Hunting
Similarly, hunting returns, allowing you to track down and shoot various wild animals. And thereafter, sell captured game to NPCs. This time, you’ll explore the forested Mount Kalaga National Park, home to predators like mountain lions.
14. Working Out

GTA: San Andreas featured working out, with players bodybuilding and learning different fighting styles. And further, you’d see the results in the muscle and weight build on your character, which then increased your stats and performance. It’s likely the same character customization and progression will return in Grand Theft Auto 6, based on the trailers showing Jason lifting weights and Lucia participating in underground cage/MMA fighting.
13. Playing Mini-Golf

All confirmed activities in Grand Theft Auto 6 also feature playing mini-golf. It’ll be a miniature golf course, with one including an alligator theme that players can catch their breath from the main quest.
12. Racing
And of course, racing. It’s always been GTA’s M.O., and this time, we’re looking at various forms. From street racing to dirt bike and off-road racing, you’ll have plenty of challenges to show off your drifting, stunting, and cruising skills.
Marine life also seems to be a huge focus of Grand Theft Auto 6, which could bring with it boat racing and customization.
11. Heists and Illegal Activities
GTA 6’s story itself leans on a life of crime. So, it’s not presumptuous to anticipate orchestrating heists as playable activities. Even lower-stakes ones, like robbing convenience stores, are shown in the trailers.
Moreover, illegal activities like smuggling drugs, trading in the black market, and running illegal businesses could very much feature in Grand Theft Auto 6.
All Potential Activities in Grand Theft Auto 6
Since we have no gameplay footage yet, it’s impossible to be entirely certain that the activities spotted in the first two trailers will be playable in the final game. Still, here are all the potential activities featured in the trailers that are likely to be side missions and gameplay features in GTA 6.
10. Completing Contracts
Instances like Jason fixing the roof of a client could be a possible side quest for players completing a contract for pay.
9. Riding the Ferris Wheel
You spot interesting details like a Ferris wheel in the trailers that Rockstar couldn’t have included by chance. And it could mean players being able to go on rides.
8. Playing Basketball
You also spot characters playing basketball in the trailer that could supplement pool and mini-golfing.
7. Community Service
An interesting addition is Lucia picking litter while wearing an ankle monitor right after being released from prison.
6. Playing Tennis
Tennis featured in GTA 5, and it could very well be returning as a fully playable minigame. We’re talking a fully playable variety of tennis courts, with freedom to challenge NPCs and other players, and possibly rank your performance on a global leaderboard.
5. Scuba Diving
Many screenshots and trailer footage show in-game characters in scuba diving gear, exploring coral reefs and marine life.
4. Kayaking

Among the water travel options and possible additions to all confirmed activities in Grand Theft Auto 6 is kayaking.
3. Jet-Skiing
But Jason and Lucia are also shown jet-skiing, which might also include competitive racing and customization.
2. Clubbing, Drinking, and Dancing

Clubs and bars have also been an extensive focus of early screenshots and trailer footage, showing possible drinking games, clubbing, and dancing. Plus, the music industry is a focal point of the main story’s plot and characters. So, it makes sense that some side activities will involve the music scene.
1. Watching TV and Gaming
On the leisurely side, it’s possible that watching in-game TV will be a Grand Theft Auto 6 activity in itself. And by the side of the TV featured in the trailer is a PS5 console, suggesting gaming as a potential activity as well.
