Barcelona ICE conferences are often a big bash up of technological innovation, networking opportunities for businesses and an all around celebration of the industry. This year set a new attendance record, it was truly a spectacle of innovation and technological excellence. All the major software providers and game vendors came in full force, displaying new games and API solutions for operators and industry insiders to test and marvel at. Loads of intriguing and potentially blockbuster new titles were rolled out, opening the new year on a high.

Wrapping Up ICE Barcelona 2026

ICE Barcelona has built a reputation as the go-to place for companies in the sector to cut deals, form new partnerships, and establish collabs, and it was not lost in this year’s edition of ICE. Over 65,000 people attended the iGaming event, and scattered across the Fira Barcelona Gran Via venue, there were booths, lounges, and hallways crammed with parties joining forces. Operators, game suppliers, affiliates, investors and regulators took part in conferences and seminars, assessing everything from player trends to emerging markets and regulatory concerns.

Then, there was the show and spectacle. ICE Barcelona 2026 featured an eye-catching, blindfolded chess match between the Chess World Numbers 1 and 2, Magnus Carlsen and Hikaru Nakamura, in a match for the ages. The event also included the EAFC FIFA eSports tournament and then a CS2 eSports Invitational.

But perhaps the biggest takeaways, for gamers, were the unique games and solutions that were bounced around across the three days. There are always new releases and games debuting at ICE Barcelona, and below we will go into some of the key highlights.

Yahtzee as a Casino Game?

One of the breakout stars of the conference was Galaxy Gaming’s Yahtzee table game, introducing the classic dice game to online casinos. An adaptation of the nostalgia-infused dice game that was introduced into America in 1938, this 3-dice version of Yahtzee is fast, easy to learn, and has innovative features to shake up the gameplay. It is going to be tied to the supplier’s new progressive features, amplifying the fun.

The game of Yahtzee is actually owned by Hasbro, which trademarks Yahtzee and all affiliated variations and themed editions of the game. Galaxy Gaming allied with Habsro to get the licensing rights to the game, and this partnership also included the rights to Monopoly. Galaxy Gaming also showcased its new Monopoly live dealer table game at the event, Ride Free Monopoly Edition.

One Click Poker: No Lobbies or Table Selection

Poker table lobbies and schedule charts are a bit confusing for poker players who are making the jump from offline to online poker cash games. These look like long data sheets, with all the valuable info you need, like Buy-in, small/big blind prices, poker format, and potentially table size/number of players at the table. Then, there are the potentially long onboarding waiting times that you may face after finding an appropriate table. Well, EvenBet Gaming intends to turn the tables with its One Click Poker games solution.

Instead of opening a new lobby with endless charts and data to process, the EvenBet poker games are displayed in the casino games lobby. Just as if they were slots or video poker, but these are multiplayer cash games. And EvenBet has all the main poker formats, including Texas Hold’em and Omaha Pot Limit. You will be playing in no time, just follow the steps:

  1. Launch the game
  2. Confirm your buy-in
  3. The game starts instantly

It cuts out separate lobbies, or even for some operators, separate apps and sites for their poker products. In its place, EvenBet has introduced seamless access to hot peer poker cash games, a win-win for both players and casino operators.

Crash Game Meets Sports Betting in Betiator

iGaming supplier Delasport had been teasing players and operators with its unique “sports betting meets crash gaming” Betiator product, saving the first demo possibilities for ICE. The product, described as a crash style game for sportsbooks, is a combination of crash game mechanics with the suspense of live betting. You place your bets in real time, and choose when to lock in your profits as the multipliers rise with a swift cash out. This gives sports bettors exactly the same type of adrenaline pumping exhilaration as casino gamers who play crash games. You choose when to jump in, and when to jump out.

Delasport is highly focused on revamping the sports betting experience and has also created products like My Sportsbook, My Combo, Double My Winnings, and SuperPot, among others. ICE Barcelona was rife with crash game and crash-style products. Then, there were crash games such as Chicken X & Friends (by Million Games), a multiplayer crash game, and the SkyControl PvP crash format – where gamers play against each other.

Revolutionizing Jackpots and Loyalty Programs

Across the board, there were new ideas for integrated jackpots and multi feature progressive games. Novomatic showed its new gaming cabinets with evolved feature mechanics and innovative progressive jackpots. Colossus Fantasy, a new DFS platform with peer to peer betting pick’em contests entered to showcase its new product. This focuses on p2p fantasy style contests, with jackpot pools that have advanced mechanisms to enhance the accuracy and timing of the rankings.

There were some pioneering new takes on loyalty programs and how to reward player engagement. IGT ran out a player to earn style engagement game in its booth, where players could complete challenges like clicking puzzle pieces, to earn instant rewards. BGaming introduced its BGaming Universe ecosystem – where it pools games into three categories: Casual, Classic and Entertainment Worlds. The idea being to group games based on player tastes and trends, from the simple fast play mechanics of Plinko and Mines to feature packed video slots, to the narrative driven high volatility games that are designed for longterm gaming sessions.

Loads More Evolution Games in 2026

Introducing new games at ICE Barcelona is hardly anything new, this is really the playground of suppliers to show off and bring their best games to wow the crowds. But Evolution Gaming one upped the other suppliers, with a roadmap for 2026 that pledges 119 new live and RNG games. The game supplier already dominates the live casino games genre, with game shows, blackjack, baccarat, roulette, casino poker, and exotic Asian titles like Sic Bo, Andar Bahar, Teen Patti, Xoc Dia, and many more.

Evolution Gaming also announced a partnership with Hasbro, although this supplier is not in the same league as Galaxy Gaming. An international powerhouse, Evolution has the budget, the resources, and the market influence to go a lot more ambitious with this alliance. At ICE, it revealed some new titles like Monopoly Roulette, Evolution Dream Creator, and a new subsidiary slots developer: Sneaky Slots. It was hinted, with Evolution’s new partnership with Hasbro, that the developer may look into creating more branded games – and the potential is massive considering Hasbro owns the copyrights to:

  • Magic: The Gathering
  • Dungeons & Dragons
  • Transformers
  • Play-Doh
  • Peppa Pig

Although on that last note, there may be some legal issues around launching a Peppa Pig slot game or live dealer game (it may send the wrong message, creating casino games with a kids’ brand – that could be appealing to minors). But still, this partnership is the start of very good things for live game enthusiasts, and the potential is tremendous.

An Exciting Road Ahead

This ICE Barcelona conference was definitely a blast, and it yielded a lot of promising new games and products for players to get behind. And that is not to mention the important deals and partnerships that were formed behind the scenes. Deals that may amount to bigger changes and more significant technological developments in the near future.

From crash sports hybrids to classics like Yahtzee to unique gaming experiences, the industry is pushing towards faster, more interactive, and more player-centric products. 2026 may be the year for big leaps and pioneering jumps, the likes of which we haven’t seen in a long time.
