Will Grand Theft Auto 6 Release in 2025?

If you’ve prematurely booked a month-long vacation from your job to romp through Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6, then consider yourself one of several million fans who, like you, have already devoted the entirety of this coming Fall to play it. It makes sense, too, that you would set aside enough time to soak up the neon-lit corridors of Vice City and its breathtaking atmosphere; Rockstar is pretty adamant that the next chapter in the award-winning series is coming to consoles in 2025. Fans, on the other hand, continue to cast doubt over whether or not it will actually make its debut this Fall, what with the recent lack of content and, frustratingly, a second trailer for the game. The bottom line here is this: Will Grand Theft Auto 6 release in 2025?
Of course, Rockstar Games has a natural tendency for radio silence; the company rarely makes an effort to lift the veil on its work outside of Grand Theft Auto Online — which continues to receive its fair share of updates even after a decade since making its formal launch. Granted, there could be a simple reason for this: the team are working tirelessly to iron out any leftover creases before releasing what will potentially become the highest-selling game of all time (there are rumors claiming that it will net over $3b in its initial fiscal year — which doesn’t come as too much of a surprise given its global popularity, to be honest.)
Grand Theft Auto 6 Release Date
As it stands, there is nothing to say that Grand Theft Auto 6 won’t be launching in the latter half of 2025. Or, at least, there is nothing outside of communal speculation and water cooler talk, anyway. So, if you did have your hopes set on picking up a copy of Grand Theft Auto 6 later this year, then rest assured that everything is still, from what we’ve gathered, going according to plan. Please, RG, don’t let us down on this one.
