Chapter 10 of Until Dawn is the culmination of all your efforts to keep Chris and the other characters alive. By this point, Chris’ survival largely hinges on the decisions made in the previous chapters. If you’ve managed to keep him safe from harm, this chapter will open with Chris successfully escaping.

In this final chapter, the main objective for all characters, including Chris, is to make it through the night alive. Chris’ role in this chapter is relatively minor compared to other characters, but his successful survival depends on not making any additional reckless choices. If Chris is alive at the beginning of Chapter 10, he is essentially safe, as he automatically escapes during the opening sequence of this chapter.

However, there are still intense moments throughout this chapter. You’ll be navigating the other remaining characters through the lodge and facing off against the Wendigos. Although Chris is no longer at immediate risk, your focus must shift to the survival of the other characters who are still at risk. Any major mistakes made with different characters can indirectly affect the overall outcome, but Chris himself is no longer under direct threat once Chapter 10 begins.
