Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Line-Up Revealed

Xbox Game Pass’ Ultimate subscribers have been left on tenterhooks, idling with bated breath in the hopes that something — anything, will eventually come to aid what is, rather unfortunately, a disappointing line-up for the beginning of 2025. Aside from Road 96, an indie game that is, in all fairness, worthy of its place in the library, there hasn’t been a great deal of movement over the past several weeks. And, to make matters worse, Xbox is planning on removing several of its games from the platform over the coming weeks, too. The bitter truth here is this: Xbox Game Pass is slipping, and it needs some form of spark to rekindle its dying flame sooner rather than later. Perhaps, then, UFC 5 could be the kindling that it needs? Eh, that’s open for debate.

The line-up for January has made its debut, and it’s…well, it’s mediocre at best, we’ll say that much. Aside from UFC 5, we also have Diablo. But other than that, there really isn’t a huge amount to write home about just yet. Scratch that — there is, but perhaps not enough to warrant the attention of its entire user base. Nevertheless, here are all of the games that are due to plant roots on Xbox Game Pass this month…

  • January 7th- Road 96 (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • January 8th- Lightyear Frontier Game Preview (Xbox Series X|S)
  • January 8th- My Time at Sandrock(Console)
  • January 8th- Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders (Xbox Series X|S)
  • January 8th- Rolling Hills (Console)
  • January 14th- EA Sports UFC 5 (Xbox Series X|S, Cloud) via Ultimate
  • January 14th- Diablo (PC) via Ultimate
