Opera GX Launches as an All-In-One Gaming Browser for iOS/Android

Opera Limited has launched Opera GX, the all-in-one gaming browser for Android and iOS. Kindled with a slew of customization elements and quirks, the beta build is looking to hone in on mobile gamers all over the globe. Of course, this isn’t the first we’ve seen of Opera, as the rather popular web browser versions have amassed quite the reputation over the years for slick design and convenience alone. However, with the launch of the Android and iOS handle — the tech company will be expanding their reach in the gaming community. And it starts right here, right now.

Opera GX is “the only browser designed specifically to complement and enhance the gaming lifestyle,” according to Product Director, Maciej Kocemba. “Straight from their mobile devices, GX Mobile instantly connects users with the vast and vibrant digital ecosystem which exists around video games.”

“Providing instant access to core gaming content channels like Twitch, YouTube and Reddit, plus GX Corner – delivering up-to-the-minute gaming news, game release calendar and a deals aggregator, providing the best prices on the latest games. With GX Mobile gamers have never been more connected.”

Opera GX can be download on iOS and Android.

The all-in-one gaming browser we’ve been waiting for…

Acting as a central hub for the gaming community, the Opera GX boasts several functions that aim to keep players in the loop 24/7. From quick access points to the latest gaming news to all the social handles one can need; GX hones in on the ultimate package that essentially puts practicality at the forefront of its features. Of course, as the browser is still very much in its infancy, the future is looking brighter than ever for the Opera labs. We just can’t wait to see where 2021 takes it.

You can download Opera GX from the official handle as of today. At present, neither the App Store nor Google Play accommodates the browser. At least not yet, anyway. Best keep your eyes peeled, though. We’re expecting some pretty spectacular things from these folks.
