Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard Season 3 will be released soon. We already know that Godzilla and King Kong will be part of the new season. Activision has been releasing various tidbits of information regarding the game. And finally, we have an answer to the most pressing question: When can we play it?
The new season coming up is called “Classified Arms,” and it looks like it'll be all about horrific beings. Players will also get a brand new operator. Both games will provide 100 content tiers, as well as two free-LC weapons for all players.
Players noticed some new weapons in the trailer that players can unlock over the season. The Season 3 cinematic trailer revealed three new weapons. The first weapon is a German-made marksman rifle, the Selbstlader M1916, which looks to be an automatic weapon in the trailer. The second weapon, the Korovin AK-45, appears to be a Russian assault rifle dating back to 1945. The Carl Gustaf m/45, a Swedish SMG, is the final weapon in the trailer.
Season 2 Reloaded brought significant graphic improvements to Warzone's Rebirth Island terrain. In addition, new elements like Weapon Trade Stations and Communication Towers have been inserted across the prison island as well. It's possible that the focus of Season 3 may go back to the main Caldera map after all of this TLC goes to Warzone's smaller map.
According to a number of leaks, the film will feature Godzilla and King Kong. Later, a trailer featuring both monsters and a May 11 start date confirmed their inclusion in Operation Monarch. According to a prior leak, both monsters would be there, and the game would start on that date.
After announcing a slew of new perks in Season 2, developer Raven Software has already hinted that there may be more to come in Season 3.
Several additional maps will be added to Vanguard, however not all of them will be available on launch day. There will be two new maps in Season 3: Mayhem and Shere. Mayhem will be available at launch while Shere will be arriving mid-season. The Trophy System, which featured in previous games as a counter to explosive devices, will be accessible as a field improvement in this one as well.
According to the Call of Duty League's blog, each season of Ranked Play will contain a unique set of goodies, including weapon blueprints, camos, charms, and more. For Season 3, Ranked Play should receive new rewards. The Skill Ratings system in Ranked Play has recently undergone significant updates, and Season 3 will bring even more changes to the format.
The third season of Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard, Classified Arms will launch on April 27. Seasonal updates for Call of Duty often drop at around 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET. Although updates are always liable to change, an official statement and additional information should arrive later this month.
