There are over 40 million games on Roblox. It’s overwhelming to pick the best ones. Some of these games are contenders across years, while newer games join the squad every other day.

If you’re wondering which are the best games to play in 2022, this article is for you. Here we'll be ranking five of the best Roblox games of 2022.

5. Jailbreak

The Jailbreak Trailer

Jailbreak‘s concept is simple. Choose between a life of crime or upholding law and order. Firstly, you pick a role as a criminal or as a cop. Sounds familiar, right? It’s a cops-and-robbers Roblox game with a feel of the chaos in Grand Theft Auto. But don’t rush to call the game simple. It’s more than mere breaking out from prison versus stopping criminals from breaking out. The open-world environment of the game is where things get interesting.

You start missions to rob banks and build a legacy with your ill-gotten wealth. For the cops, it can get plain dirty, chasing criminals down in an intriguing game of hide-and-seek. You have many weapons and vehicles to choose from, or you could craft devious escape plans. But if the criminal life is not for you, you can spend your time in the cafeteria, passing the time in the yard. Though it could get boring, you’d better get creative and pickpocket a keycard from the police officers to break out of there.

The game’s first release was in 2017. However, several years down the line, over five billion players have tried their hand at it. If you’re yet to play it, you should check it out for the ultimate adrenaline heist, planning or upholding the law and keeping the community safe.

4. Adopt Me!

ADOPT ME! Official Game Trailer 🐾

The greatest thing about Roblox games is there are no limits to creativity. There are plenty of genres available with something to suit everyone’s taste. For this particular one, Adopt Me! will have you melting with how adorable it executes caregiving.

You’re free to adopt a pet from a wide variety of them. Whether you’d like to take care of a parrot, a reindeer, a monkey, or a sea animal, there is a pet for everyone’s need. Your task is to take care of your pet, including raising them, playing dress-up, and fulfilling everyday needs. You could also purchase a house and decorate it. After that, you could host hangouts and invite other players along with their pets. If you wanted to trade pets with them, you could.

Initially, Adopt Me! conceptualised the Sims in taking care of a person's everyday needs. However, pets have shifted gears so much that it’s become the most popular game in its reign.

The game held a Scooby-Doo event and has partnered with the Whale and Dolphin Conservation charity. Further, the game receives active maintenance and weekly updates, so you always have a fun, relaxing and engaging experience.

3. MeepCity

MeepCity: STAR BALL Trailer

If you’d like to dive into the social networking genre, MeepCity is for you. The game gained traction pretty fast that it was the first one to hit more than a billion visits. Since its launch in 2016, it has grown to support up to 200 players on its servers.

There are plenty of activities to go around, from adopting a pet with customisation options to building and decorating your home. There are also mini-games where you can earn in-game coins to purchase items you may need, like fishing rods or cosmetics

When you get bored, you can go out into the town and make friends with other players. The structure is free-form, so there isn’t a specific objective to accomplish. All your interactions are entirely up to you.

Earning coins is also pretty easy. There are plenty of activities that can make you extra currency, like engaging in minigames or selling items. You could also directly purchase coins by converting to money to Robux, which is Roblox’s currency.

2. Royale High

From its name, Royale High is a fantasy, role-playing game where you’re a high schooler with supernatural abilities. Your main goal is to fit in to socialise with other players while levelling up your grades and magical powers. High grades mean you earn more in-game currency and can engage in many activities. These include buying stylish costumes for your character.

Royale High was initially called Fairies & Mermaids Winx High School. It has plenty of fantasy realms to explore. You can go out into the open world and explore exciting realms like Fantasia Getaway Resort, Moonlight Square, or Enchantix High through teleportation. Seasonal realms include Halloween, Christmas, and Independence Day.

Since it receives regular updates, Royale High constantly offers a creative and engaging adventure throughout playing the game. In future, Royale High’s creator, Callmehbob, expects to add building your costume stores, among other updates. So there’s a lot to look forward to.
