First introduced in Genshin Impact 3.4, Alhaitham returns in Genshin Impact 3.7 as a Dendro Sword character. The Dendro element is extremely rare on Teyvat. It is the element of life that grants Alhaitham a +50 elemental mastery boost. Even so, Alhaitham can only do so much with Dendro on his own, which can be frustrating given Alhaitham's primary DPS skill set.

To make the most of Alhaitham, you'll need to team up with other characters who improve his skill set in battle. But which teams are the most reliable? How can you build a strong lineup for Alhaitham that capitalizes on elemental reactions besides Dendro? How can you fill in areas where Alhaitham is lacking? Let's take a look at today's best Alhaitham teams in the Genshin Impact.

5. Hyperbloom Team

The Hyperbloom Team is made up of a Dendro, Hydro, and Electro unit. Together, they create the Hyperbloom reaction. This combination has proven to work wonders in the Genshin Impact community. They deal damage like it’s Tuesday. Alhaitham will have the Dendro unit covered. For Hydro, you may want to go with Yelan or Xingqiu, and the Electro, Raiden Shogun, or Kuki Shinobu.

The sequence in which you use these characters matters a lot in how you’re going to execute a Hyperbloom reaction. You’ll want to first create Dendro cores using Alhaitham and a Hydro character like Yelan to assist. Once you spin up the cores, an Electro character like Kuki can then trigger the Hyperbloom reaction. Additionally, consider adding a Healer to the team to fill in what is presently lacking, and you have a complete team.

Hyperbloom Team

  • Alhaitham – Main DPS, Dendro enabler
  • Raiden Shogun – Sub-DPS, Electro enabler
  • Yelan – Support, Hydro enabler
  • Kuki Shinobu – Healer, Electro enabler

4. Spread Team

The Spread Team is made up of a Dendro and Electro unit. You only need the two elements to create a Spread reaction. For the additional spots for support, you can double up on another Electro character. These scales Alhaitham’s elemental mastery nicely, so you can kill two birds with one stone effectively maximizing Alhaitham’s projectile damage while also achieving a Spread reaction. You can consider Nahida for Dendro, and Traveler, Fischl, Yaoyao, or Kuki Shinobu for Electro.

To achieve a Spread reaction, the sequence in which you activate it doesn’t matter, provided you apply Electro before activating Dendro over Quicken. First, you need to apply Dendro and Electro to create a Quicken reaction. A quick tip is to use Kazuha to swirl Electro to apply a consistent flow, add damage output for Electro, and provide an extra boost to everyone, including Alhaitham’s elemental mastery. Then apply more Dendro to deal Spread damage.

Spread Team

  • Alhaitham – Main DPS, Dendro enabler
  • Fischl – Sub-DPS, Electro enabler
  • Kazuha – Support, Electro enabler
  • Kuki Shinobu – Healer, Electro enabler

3. Quickbloom Team

Next up is the Quickbloom Team, which is made up of the Dendro and Hydro units. Plus, employing Kuki Shinobu as a re-trigger option. To activate Quickbloom, you need to use the Hyperbloom reaction to launch projectiles by generating a consistent flow of Dendro cores. Meanwhile, activate a Quicken reaction. Then, initiate a high rate of Dendro to activate a Spread and Aggravate reaction. You'll also need to employ Electro for support to help re-trigger either Quicken or Aggravate.

As complex as it may sound, that’s the whole point of Quickbloom. That you consistently launch Dendro cores at enemies. Meanwhile, when you apply Electro and Hydro, it triggers a whole bunch of reactions, including Quicken, which can transform into Spread or Aggravate, or Bloom, which can transform into Hyperbloom. When you wrap it up with Baizhu as a healing bonus, you’ll be good to go.

Quickbloom Team

  • Alhaitham – Main DPS, Dendro enabler
  • Yelan – Sub-DPS, Hydro enabler
  • Kuki Shinobu – Support, Electro enabler
  • Baizhu – Healer, Dendro enabler

2. Bloom Team

The Bloom Team is a pretty effective way to combine Hydro and Dendro to your advantage. It’s a pre-reaction that can be transformed into Hyerbloom. To make the most of Bloom, though, you may want to utilize Nilou if you have her in your account. She’s a beautiful and elegant dancer who deals impressive AOE Hydro damage. Meanwhile, you can use Alhaitham’s mirror stacks to create a consistent and rapid flow of bountiful cores on the field.

Keep in mind, though, that the Bloom reaction only pays off handsomely when Nilou is a part of the team. Otherwise, you may as well go the Hyperbloom route to deal the maximum damage. That said, a neat trick is to add another Hydro character to boost your team’s HP against any damage taken. Furthermore, you can consider using Kokomi to help double up on Hydro and provide healing when needed, especially when you consider doubling up on Dendro as well. Overall, have at least one healer for the Dendro or Hydro unit to help sustain any resistance.

Bloom Team

  • Alhaitham – Main DPS, Dendro enabler
  • Nilou – Sub-DPS, Hydro enabler
  • Nahida – Support, Dendro enabler
  • Sangonomiya Kokomi – Healer, Hydro enabler

1. Burgeon Team

Finally, we have the Burgeon Team, which is made up of the Dendro, Pyro, and Hydro unit. A Burgeon reaction works similarly to Hyperbloom. Alhaitham will need to create a consistent flow of Dendro cores. This sets the stage for Thoma to trigger a Burgeon reaction. You may want to make sure Alhaitham has Gilded Dreams and Zhongli with Deepwood Memories.

Also, Thoma is the best option to go with for a Pyro character. That’s because she has a relatively weaker Pyro application that works well for this team, whereas characters like Xiangling may interfere with the reaction and cause Vaporize or Burning reactions instead. Then, complete the team with either Xingqui or Yelan for healing, who can potentially contribute to creating Bloom with Dendro, which when triggered with Pyro can lead to Burgeon.

Burgeon Team

  • Alhaitham – Main DPS, Dendro enabler
  • Thoma – Sub-DPS, Pyro enabler
  • Yelan – Support, Hydro enabler
  • Xingqui – Healer, Hydro enabler
