GameFi Redefined as Yeeha Games Announces the Launch of Oath of Peak

Yeeha Game’s approach for the launch of Oath of Peak on January 12, 2023, could redefine the gaming finance (GameFi) industry as we know it. For the longest time, game releases have relied on overzealous efforts to draw in players. However, Yeeha Games has chosen a more realistic approach for its MMORPG project.

Using the first five minutes of Oath of Peak’s actual gameplay as a trailer, this GameFi platform lets players know what the game is like and what to expect. No overdone, highly edited cinematic trailers. Just the real deal.

The New Age of Balanced Fun and Finances in GameFi

Yeeha Games also intends to patch up one of the most controversial loose ends of crypto gaming, compromised gameplay. Since 2018, the blockchain game producer has focused exclusively on developing Oath of Peak’s gameplay. Only when the gameplay was complete did the company add blockchain elements for GameFi purposes. 

This focus on building a fun plot for the game before monetizing it couldn’t come at a better time. According to a 2022 State of GameFi report, at least 81% of GameFi investors wished that game developer would prioritize exhilarating gameplay before finances. 

The report partly explains that “the whole point behind video gaming, be it GameFi or traditional gaming, is to create positive experiences first.” “Earning ought to be a secondary, not a primary goal.” This is an opinion that the head of Live-Ops at Yeeha Games shares. Grant echoed that “Video games should be about providing a great experience above all else,” 

Such an understanding places Oath of Peak in a unique position in the blockchain gaming space. With support from the likes of Polygon Co-Founder Sandeep Nailwal, who tweeted that he found the game “extremely fun,”  this GameFi project is not only a cash cow in waiting but also one of the best examples of what a redefined GameFi industry should offer. 

As players await the launch, Yeeha Games has opened a whitelist for early-bird fans to mint Genesis Primordial Spirit Beast NFT (Oath of Peak’s core asset) for free before launch. The mint took place on December 20, and more details about the event are available on the  Oath of Peak Twitter account.
