Tips & Tricks for Becoming a Better Fortnite Player

With so many people playing Fortnite, it’s important to stay ahead of the curve and learn as many tricks as possible to help you win. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, these tips will help you improve your gameplay and dominate the competition.

Read on for some essential tips and tricks for becoming a better Fortnite player and to play Fortnite like a pro!

Check Your Settings

Most times, your control settings may be letting you down. From Tyler “Ninja” Blevins himself, lowering your sensitivity control setting helps achieve a stronger aim. Try it yourself! Head over to Settings > Controller > Advanced – Look Sensitivity. Keep tweaking these until you find one that works best for you.

Warm-up First

Warming up in practice mode goes a long way to preparing you for battle. So make sure to practice your aims, your building strategies, and how to swap weapons. You don’t want to learn during the game; competing against seasoned veterans who we can bet on, took time to warm up before the game.

Know When and Where to Jump

Jumping out of the flying bus immediately versus waiting a few seconds for the dust to clear can make all the difference. Also, look out for the furthest areas from the battle bus route to provide you with more time to gather resources and build up your game.

Study Other Veteran Players

You could save a lot of time learning new tricks from seasoned veteran players. Check out Ninja on Twitch or other professionals who’ve spent countless hours playing Fortnite. There are almost always discoveries you’d make in just a few hours of watching live streams.
