The Streamer Awards, Winner and Nomination Results
On March 12, the first-ever Streaming Awards took place, thanks to Twitch streamer QTCinderella. The streamer has pushed for The Streamer Awards for quite some time and finally got the chance to make it happen live in Hollywood, California. As it took place, fans across the world tuned in to the live stream on Twitch, which was co-hosted by QTCinderella and Miya Higa.
The event was nothing short of a spectacle, featuring a red carpet, multiple musical guests, and 27 different awards that were handed out. The stream also took the top charts on Twitch with over 400,000 concurrent viewers and even broke into the fifth most trending topic on Twitter that same day.

Over the past few weeks, viewers and fans alike had the chance to vote for their personal winner in each category. While these votes were taken into heavy consideration the event decided it would take a 70/30 split between fan vote and judge vote.
