5. What is the Entrepreneur Skill?

tips

The Entrepreneur Skill is a new type of skill Sims can earn and build through any type of “hustle” activity. So, in essence, any type of self-employment, freelance work, or part-time job outside of your regular job will contribute to the Entrepreneur Skill. There are a variety of “side hustles” your Sims can take up, but here are some of the most popular ones:

  • Painter
  • Photography
  • Professional Gamer
  • Cooking/Baking
  • Book Publisher
  • Musician
  • Simlfuencer
  • Video Game Streamer

Actively doing any of these activities and progressing them to the point where you can profit from them will work to unlock the Entrepreneur Skill for your sim. However, one of the best tips we can give you for this skill is to pursue either the Simfluencer or Video Game Streamer hustles. That's because you can make the most of a living from these entrepreneurial careers. Furthermore, Teenage Sims who pursue these skills will be granted the Entrepreneur Skill automatically.

4. Best Ways to Level

tips

Leveling the Entrpreneur Skill in The Sims 4 is pretty standard. However, without knowing the tips to do so, it can be hard. You can level this skill by completing odd jobs, working towards your freelance career, or selling things you've created. That means, selling things such as your paintings, photos, books, and songs you've written. Furthermore, actively spending time working on your Simfluencer or Video Game Streamer career works towards leveling the Entreprenuer Trait right from the get-go.

3. Levels to Entrepreneur Skill

Entrepreneur

There are two types of skills in The Sims 4, Major Skills which feature 10 levels, and Minor Skills which only have five. The new Entrepreneur Skill is considered minor and only has five levels. Nonetheless here are all five levels and what new perks they grant you as you unlock them on your side-hustle journey.

  • Level 1

Unfortunately, level 1 doesn't grant you anything new to the Entrepreneur Skill. It merely unlocks the skill and kickstarts your Entrepreneurial journey.

  • Level 2

Level two is big in that it unlocks the ability for your sim to promote your side hustle through online advertisement. One of the best tips we can give you is to exhaust this perk. Because this is one of the best ways to rapidly grow your side hustle and quickly get you to level three.

  • Level 3

Level three of the Entrepreneur Skill unlocks the ability for your sim to research and create a business plan on their computer. To do that, click on a computer and select “Career” and then choose “Research Business Plan”. There is one requirement for you to be able to do this: you must be employed. However, Simfluencers and Video Game Streamers will have the option if they are unemployed. More reasoning as to why these side hustles are excellent choices.

  • Level 4

With level four in the Entrepreneur Skill, you can contact angel investors for funding and make your side hustle business plan a reality. To do that, research a business plan on your computer then click on the USB stick that appears in your Sims inventory. Once you call the angel investors, you'll inevitably secure the deal and with it, a large sum of cash.

  • Level 5

At level five of the Entrepreneur Skill, your sim will have the option to appear on The Llama’s Lair reality TV show. This is done the same way you contacted the angel investors; click on the USB stick from the computer. Furthermore, at level five your Sim will gain the Knowledge Reward Trait, which increases your overall salary and makes other Sims more receptive in conversations.

2. Creating Your Business Plan

Entrepreneur

Creating your business plan at level 3/4 of your Entrepreneur Skill is crucial. That's because, you can create a poor, normal, or outstanding business plan, the difference between each is with much money you receive from your angel investor. We're assuming you want all the money you can get, so these are the best tips for creating the most successful business plan.

The first tip to note is that you can create as many business plans as you want. As a result, don't contact angel investors until you've created an outstanding business plan. To do that, you'll want to create a business plan when your Sim is feeling Confident, Inspired, and Focused. When you create a business plan with these traits active, it will be outstanding. Pitching an excellent business plan to angel investors will result in the most money, or funding, available.
