Elden Ring is a game that players have no doubt been following for its amazing gameplay. That being said, the game made quite a splash at the 2022 Game Awards by winning Best Art Direction. The game oozes atmosphere, and with its latest update expanding on its PvP options, it is a fantastic time to play this critically acclaimed title.  The art direction within the game is absolutely stellar. Every inch of the Land Between feels like a fantasy world brought to life. The many vistas and setpieces throughout the game have never looked any better.

Elden Ring's Art Brings Home The Gold

Even if you aren't a fan of Souls type games, you have to admit that Elden Ring is gorgeous. Everything from the landscapes to the enemies, are dripping with beauty. Even some of the uglier enemies have intricate designs. If you go to any conventions, you are guaranteed to see players cosplaying Ranni due to her fun design. This game made a huge impact on the community for it's art direction and will continue to be played for years to come.

Elden Ring has yet to even receive any DLC, but players are still actively playing the game on Steam. This just goes to show that putting love into a game world and designing it to be breathtaking can help a game stay in the minds of it's players. Elden Ring is also up for the Game of The Year Award and is nominated in several other categories.
