5. Spongebob's Atlantis Squarepantis

SpongeBob's Atlantis Squarepantis is a game that was released around the same time as the TV movie of the same name. The game is rather interesting in the fact that it was developed by different developers for different ports, Blitz Games for the consoles and Altron for the handheld versions of the game. In addition, the game has multiple exciting mechanics, including a varied skill set between all of its playable characters. All of this combines to make a relatively solid SpongeBob SquarePants game.

There are multiple different abilities that the player can use that all in some way reflect the character using them. For example, the ever-greedy and money-loving Mr. Krabs is able to summon all of the money around him to him like some sort of vacuum. Of course, this isn't the only ability, but a simple showcase of the love put into each of the character's abilities in the game—all in all. SponegeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis might not be the most inventive or remembered title, but it definitely is worthy of praise for being one of the best SpongeBob games.
