High on Life DLC Has Been Revealed

Squanch Games, independent studio and all-round brainchild of Rick & Morty's Justin Roiland, has just let slip details surrounding exclusive DLC for 2022's High on Life.

To put you in the picture — High on Life is lining up to receive some new content, and it's supposedly heading to consoles and PC at some point later this year. But as for what this so-called DLC—High on Knife—will consist of, however, is still anybody's guess.

Of course, if we had to take a stab in the dark and conjure something—anything up, then we'd argue that the upcoming DLC will likely revolve around one of the game's many Gatlian companions. In other words, Knifey, a psychotic blade that your hero finds at the very beginning of the campaign. Should this be the case, then fans of the OG copy can certainly expect to see plenty of melee-based combat and an extra barrage of crude humor to boot.

Naturally, Squanch Games made the best of its announcement by simply keeping its key details to a bare minimum. Matter of fact, the studio only revealed the title of the upcoming DLC and nothing more. And so, with that, we'll just have to keep a close eye on its social feeds and await further information.

It's hard to say what High on Knife is at this moment in time, let alone its release date or chosen platforms. Fact is, though, the outrageously barbaric first-person shooter by Squanch Games is about to get a second helping of unhinged bloodshed, and it's coming to the base game at some stage in 2023.
