Rockstar Games will be releasing Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online on PlayStation 5 this month. The two games are currently on PS4 and will be making a leap on PS5 this March. The developer, Rockstar Games will bring action-packed, blockbuster Story Mode adventure and the dynamic, ever-evolving world of GTA Online to the PlayStation 5 with a slew of new features for both new and returning gamers.

Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online will be released for PlayStation 5 separately. Rockstar Games has finally revealed a few clues about what to expect. It appears that the studio has included a slew of extra features.

Three graphic modes will be available in the PS5 edition of the ever-popular sandbox. One can choose from Fidelity Mode (4K with ray tracing, 30 frames-per-second) and Performance Mode (upscaled 4K, 60 frames-per-second). The third visual mode is Performance RT (upscaled 4K with ray tracing, targeting 60 frames-per-second). On the subject of aesthetics, this updated edition will reportedly include a more densely inhabited open environment. Additionally, it will include enhanced lighting, explosions, and more.

You can expect faster loading times, immersive 3D audio, platform-specific features like improved haptic feedback, with the new-gen edition.

Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers with the DualSense controller, as well as 3D audio, are all supported on PS5. Faster loading times are, of course, part of the package. We think it's a port that requires a lot of effort.

In terms of GTA Online, the PS5 edition will feature a revamped onboarding portion and a cleaner front end. As a result, you will have a more enjoyable experience. Furthermore, you can transfer progress completed on PS4 versions of GTA 5 and GTA Online to the PS5 versions. This feature will allow you to continue where you left off. To do this, you will need to use Rockstar Games Social Club to upload your data to the cloud.

There's no indication on a PS4 upgrade path, so it's looking like the PS5 version will be expensive right now. If we hear anything different from Rockstar, we'll inform you. It's worth noting that PS Plus subscribers will get access to GTA Online when it releases on March 15th as part of their membership, so there's something.
