Weekend One will begin with PlayStation, as has been the case with previous Call of Duty open betas. Users who have pre-ordered on PlayStation will benefit from early access on October 6-7. If you haven't pre-ordered, you'll have to wait until October 8-10. However, that's just weekend one.

Weekend two will invite all platforms to the open beta but with a twist. If you pre-ordered on PC or Xbox, you will get in on weekend two early access from October 12-13. The twist is that, weekend two early access is also available to all PlayStation users, regardless of pre-order status. Following that, on October 14-16, the open beta will open for everyone on all platforms, regardless of pre-order status. And, yes, crossplay is being enabled for weekend two.

So it's no surprise that PlayStation is getting special treatment in this open beta, with access to both weekends and even every single day if you pre-ordered. Nonetheless, regardless of your console, everyone will be able to participate in the open beta for at least a few days. Unfortunately, Activision has not released any details about what the open beta will feature, so the gameplay remains a mystery for the time being.
