BETBY Launches SlotBets, Turning Live Sports Into Slot-Style Betting

Sportsbook supplier BETBY launched BETBY SlotBets on September 8, 2026, a product that turns real-time sporting action into slot-style gameplay built around 15-second betting rounds. The Malta-based B2B supplier announced the launch in a company blog post, introducing a content category it calls SlotBets Games and a form of play it terms slotbetting.

BETBY described the release as the first product of its kind on the market. SlotBets combines the immediacy of sports betting with casino mechanics such as reels, winning combinations and multipliers, with each round tied directly to the action unfolding in a live sports event. The company said the new category is designed to bring the sportsbook and casino verticals closer together.

How SlotBasketball Works

SlotBasketball is the first major real-sports application of the product. Each 15-second round is divided into three five-second windows that correspond to three reels. Every reel records the highest-value event occurring within its window, including outcomes such as a three-pointer, two-pointer, missed shot, foul, or a stretch in which no action takes place.

Once the 15 seconds are complete, the three reels form a combination, and matching outcomes produce payouts according to the game’s paytable. Multipliers and additional mechanics sit on top of that structure. Unlike RNG-based casino products that borrow sports themes, BETBY SlotBets is powered directly by real sporting action, so the match itself determines the result.

Basketball was selected as the first real-sports application because of its naturally high tempo and constant flow of meaningful events, according to the company. “We believe SlotBets Games can develop its own recognisable mechanics, terminology and player expectations, in the same way that categories such as Crash Games did before,” Nekrasov said. He said BETBY’s ambition extends beyond launching a single product.

Esports Titles and Operator Integration

BETBY SlotBets is also being developed for 24/7 esports content, with titles including eSlotSoccer, eSlotCricket, eSlotHockey and eSlotPingPong. The supplier said the esports titles are expected to broaden the offering and help operators maintain engagement during quieter periods in the traditional sports calendar.

The product integrates through a lightweight iFrame and can be positioned within a sportsbook, a casino, or both. BETBY said the familiar slot-style interface also creates potential for retail casino integration, allowing operators to introduce sports-based content in a format casino-first players can understand immediately.
