7. Bopl Battle

Bopl Battle Announcement Trailer

Bopl Battle can pass as Pool Party's closest relative: a sister, maybe a brother, but from a different lineage. Like the upcoming title, you play as a ball but are made of gloop. The 2D brawler has you facing off with other slime opponents using special abilities. You can either use a rocket engine to send them flying across the world or summon a black hole that swallows the entire stage.

The striking difference is the use of slime mechanics. Unlike Pool Party, where you can roll outside the arena, in Bopl Battle, you can stick to the platforms, which will return you to the arena.

Nothing screams chaos like cooperative culinary games. Overcooked! All You Can Eat is a bundled package of all the games in the Overcooked series, plus the DLC. It's not a new game, but it includes new levels and a refreshing cast of characters. The games start similarly: a ridiculous food-based monster comes to life after a catastrophic event.

As the titular protagonist, you don't have the skills at first to take down this monster. However, after training, which is a series of cooking challenges, you finally learn the ropes. The game tests your patience, speed, and team coordination. It might have a cartoonish appeal, but things do get intense.

5. Make Way

Make Way - Launch Trailer | PS5 & PS4 Games

Away from the kitchen, it's time to burn rubber and shift gears in Make Way. Developed by Ice BEAM, Make Way is a multiplayer racing game played from a top-down perspective. The game's title hints at the gameplay, where you make your racetrack. There is no limit to how creative you can get.

Every race starts with up to four players selecting random track items. Once every player has theirs, the next race is to lay the pieces together to create a track. This technique gives a new perspective to each race—no need to master the tracks. However, the game boosts your racing with rockets or mines to attack opponents. You can also push them off track.

4. Ultimate Chicken Horse
